Spending time at George Lucas’s home in California is bound to make a guy think about ‘Star Wars.’  While filming scenes for ’17 Again’  at Skywalker Ranch, Zac Efron realized how badly he wants to be Luke Skywalker for Lucas’s upcoming tv show.

“George Lucas is doing a Star Wars TV series? Oh man. I’ll have to put in a phone call. Young Skywalker? Yeah… Bring it On!”

Efron spent time playing with the props at the famous home and says ”that nerd part of the film, is right up my alley.”

Zac Efron appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on April 13th to promote 17 Again, his movie opening this weekend. Efron had some great stories and fun banter with Letterman.

Zac Efron is not feeling the need to breed. He is young and enjoying himself and simply does not want to be a father anytime soon. The 17 Again  star said:

“The very idea of kids is frightening to me. Maybe it’s over-exposure at a young age to a lot of kids. Right now I think I’m honestly, deep down, too selfish of a person. So I don’t have that longing yet but I think eventually maybe it will come.”

Efron and his girlfriend, High School Musical  star Vanessa Hudgens won’t be procreating and passing on their gorgeous looks just yet as Efron’s mom is on board with the ‘no kids’ policy and filled his christmas stocking with condoms. After seeing a picture of the duo leaving a sex shop, Mama Efron is making sure her son is protected with the unusual holiday gift. It turns out the shop was just a costume store Hudgens and Efron visited for Halloween one year but his mother is taking no chances. No Jamie Lynn Spears or Bristol Palin issues here.

 17 Again Zac Efron Exclusive Featurette

Here is a funny little promo for the new Zac Efron/Matthew Perry comedy 17 Again, opening this weekend. I have to admit, I’m looking forward to seeing Zac in a role other than musicals. He really seems to have a gift for comedy. And I can’t wait to check him out on Saturday Night Live this weekend as host.

Finally we get to see Zac Efron doing something different after the end of the “High School Musical” saga. In new movie “17 Again” Zac plays a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.

“17 Again” opens April 19! So who is excited to see this movie!?
