Big Time Rush gets some holiday help from Miranda Cosgrove in the seasonal treat: Big Time Christmas.

The guys of BTR want to head home to Minnesota for the break but find out they have to record 3 songs for a holiday EP before they can go anywhere. On the Mariah Carey song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” Carlos, Logan, Kendall and James get Miranda to duet with them – and have Fabio dressed as Santa driving a sleigh!

The hour long show airs Saturday, December 4th at 8PM.

Nina Dobrev is always multi-tasking. The December cover model for Russia’s ElleGirl magazine has a lot on her professional plate.

Playing the roles of Katherine the vampire and her dopplegänger descendant, human Elena on The Vampire Diaries is quite a challenge, but Dobrev is up for it and is “working really hard.”

Along with having twice the scenes, Dobrev has also added an unofficial title to her resume: translator. The actress, who was born in Bulgaria and relocated to Toronto, Canada with her family when she was young, can speak Bulgarian. This came in handy as the writers of the show put Katherine’s origins in her birth country. Dobrev had to tweak her lines a bit, with help from her Mom:

“I called my mom, and she and I translated it,” Dobrev said of the Bulgarian dialogue in the episode titled “Katerina.”

“I think the writers had used an internet translator and it was so funny. All those online translators are never right. So we did it. I translated my own dialogue, but I called my mom just to confirm I was right.”

The 21 year-old actress has been doing a great job playing both parts convincingly, but perhaps she will have a bit of a rest coming up. TVD returns with new episodes on December 2nd and 9th and these seem to (you can never be too sure with the writers on this show!) focus more on the werewolf transformation of Tyler (Michael Trevino.) Love the show, Nina and I can’t wait for new episodes!

Surrounded by the adorable Despicable Me yellow minions, Miranda Cosgrove and the Statue of Liberty floated down the streets of the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2010 route.

The New York City tradition took the actress from the start at 77th and Central Park West through the city to 34th street at Macy’s Herald Square. Miranda was bundled up against the chill in a black coat with fur collar for the ride on the float.

Shay Mitchell attended the 2010 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute event in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony was taped at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday, November 20th but broadcast last night on Thanksgiving.

The Pretty Little Liars actress wore a beautiful long black gown by Laundry and amazing jewelry from Basile & Pape.

Mitchell and the PLL gang will return to ABC Family with new episodes on Monday January 3rd, 2011.

CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute 2010 was broadcast on Thanksgiving night (November 25th) and highlighted some amazing people from around the world. 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord was one of the celebrities on hand for the event (which taped Sunday, November 21st in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium) to applaud the everyday people whose work and self-sacrifice improve the lives of others.

McCord is a strong supporter of The Blind Project, a non-profit organization who mission is to end human trafficking around the world. The actress must have been particularly gratified to see 2010′s winner Anuradha Koirala of Maiti Nepal. Koriala works to end trafficking, provide rehabilitation to those who have suffered from it and to work with the vicitims to gain legal justice from their abusers.

Ashley Tisdale was named a 2010 Style Star by Seventeen magazine. The very fashionable Miss Tisdale likes to choose from lots of different styles from rocker chick to bohemian – whatever she feels will give her the look she wants. Ashley does say, she does not like layered looks because she is petite:

“I have really long legs, so I like to wear short dresses that show them off. And I don’t wear stuff that’s too, too big or layered because I’m petite—fitted clothes looks best on me.”

Growing up, her mom owned a clothing store so Tisdale has developed her personal sense of style. She knows what she likes and what looks good on her.

Jesse McCartney was one of many celebrities at the 2010 Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Concert at the Los Angeles shopping center The Grove.

McCartney, along with David Archuleta, Charice and Corbin Bleu performed for the audience that included California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family. Jesse sang his hit single “Shake” and you can check the video below.

Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet of the 2010 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday November 21st.

Miley wore a beautiful Marchesa white strapless mini dress with a low back, a large bow and a long, long train. The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer had her hair straight and sleek, added Christian Louboutin heels and lots of Neil Lane jewelry for a very glamorous look. Love her red carpet look – it was amazing!

Cyrus took the stage later in the evening and performed “Forgiveness and Love.”

Rihanna reveled in red lace on the red carpet of the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday night, November 21st.

Wearing her fire engine red hair in curls and a long Elie Saab lacy dress, Rihanna played in unusually understated as she headed inside to get to work on her performance of the night. Rihanna looked amazing in this dress!

RiRi did take home an award for the evening – Favorite Female Artist, Soul/R&B!

Taylor Swift shows off her sexy side at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday November 21st.

The Speak Now songwriter straightened her hair and wore a metallic Collette Dinnigan dress with strappy python printed heels. Swift always manages to choose a dress that sparkles, but this was a very sophisticated look and she was hot!

Swift managed to pick up the award for Favorite Female Artist, Country and performed “Back to December” for the show.
