Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato got together over the weekend to have a simple girls night out for the two long-time friends.

The two Disney stars allegedly drifted apart for a while but everything seems back to good for the teens.

Bot Gomez and Lovato posted the photo on each of their twitter pages and let the world know they support each other and their friendship is still going.

ABC Family’s Winter Wonderland event held in New York City brought out the cast of Pretty Little Liars. Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario were bundled up in their stylish coats (love Lucy’s bright blue with faux fur trim) to hit the Rockefeller ice skating rink and the Rock Center Cafe on Sunday (December 5th) afternoon.

PLL is set to return with episode 11 “Moments Later” on January 3rd, 2011.

Sucker Punch has a new trailer out and wow! does it deliver. The Zack Snyder (300) directed film is visually stunning and the story is really starting to come through. Warner Bros. official plot synopsis:

Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality.  Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary.

She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive.  Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls—the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)—to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).

Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal.  Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive.  But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey—if they succeed—will set them free.

Sisters AJ and Aly Michalka took time out of their super busy filming schedules to attended the premiere of RED at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles Monday night.

Hellcats star Aly was working her sexy, fitted purple dress and tousled hair while sister AJ had a more demure look and chose a sleevelss white top with navy puffy skirt for the Secretariat starlet. The 78Violet duo looked fantastic.

Elle Fanning has grabbed a plum part in director Sofia Coppola’s latest film Somewhere. Dakota’s younger sister is poised to shine on her own in the father/daughter drama set in Los Angeles. Fanning is the 11 year-old Cleo, who gives her father (played by Stephen Dorff) a reason to change. Here is the official synopsis:

Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff) is a bad-boy A-List actor stumbling through a life of excess while living at Hollywood’s legendary Chateau Marmont Hotel.  His days are a haze of drinks, girls, fast cars and fawning fans.  Cocooned in this celebrity-induced artificial world, Johnny has lost all sense of his true self.

Until, that is, his 11-year-old daughter Cleo (Elle Fanning) unexpectedly shows up and unwittingly begins to anchor him.  Johnny’s fragile connection to real life slowly revives in her presence. So when the time comes for Cleo to leave, his sense of loss is palpable, but the gift of hope she has also brought him leads to a beautiful, poetic denouement imbued with all of Coppola’s remarkable powers to conjure mood and atmosphere.

Quiet and understated, Coppola’s movies are magnificent hidden gems to discover and she brings out wonderful performances in the actors she casts (think Scarlett Johannson and Bill Murray in Lost In Translation.) I look forward to seeing Elle and Stephen light up the screen. Check out the trailer below.

Selena Gomez and Joey King were in a Florida Borders Bookstore for a fan meet and greet on Saturday July 17th. The Ramona and Beezus costars signed copies of the movie tie-in book and took photos with fans. More pics of the two and their fans under. The movie opens this coming weekend: July 23rd.

Kristen Stewart and Anna Kendrick are among the nine up and coming actresses who made Vanity Fair’s March cover for the New Hollywood 2010 issue. Along with Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood, Stewart and Kendrick are decked out in beautiful designer clothes, shoes and jewelry for the Annie Leibovitz cover photograph. Fox has given the go ahead for another full season of it’s mega hit show Glee. The freshman series, which just won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite New TV Comedy, is also casting for 3 new members of the show. Open auditions will be held for unknowns and professionals between the ages of 16 and 26. The process of choosing the newest members will be made into a TV special itself and the winners announced in the fall.

Stars of The Twilight Saga movies, Nikki Reed and Anna Kendrick were on hand at Movieline/Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards: A Night Of Appreciation ceremony to celebrate the hard work by the talented craftspeople dedicated to cinema. Reed presented Special Visual Effects to Susan MacLeod for her work on New Moon and Kendrick (along with Jason Bateman) gave the honors to Film Editor Dana E. Glauberman for Up In The Air.

Reed wore a Nanette Lepore dress with Jimmy Choo shoes and bag and Kendrick chose a Catharine Malandrino dress with Christian Louboutin shoes.
