New mommy and all-around British bad ass Adele, rocked the stage tonight with a stirring performance of her Oscar nominated song from the film by the same name, Skyfall.

The buxom beauty looked and sounded absolutely breathtaking and it certainly didn’t hurt that she was introduced by our all-time favorite butt-kicker and fellow Oscar nominated gal pal, Jennifer Lawrence!

Didn’t GossipTeen just report that the 24-year-old singer and her boyfriend Simon Konecki were expecting, like, two weeks ago?

According to reports, British singer/songwriter extraordinaire Adele, has been hiding her blossoming baby bump for months, and is due to give birth in September!

Very, very sneaky Ms. Adele!

A source close to the singer revealed that,

Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible…. She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it’s been all about the baby.

Well consider us duped!  We’ve been going on and on about how fresh-faced and in shape the “Rumor Has It” singer was looking and all along it was just the glow of an expectant mommy!

Congrats to Simon and Adele on their impending arrival!

After taking to her personal website to announce that she and boyfriend Simon Konecki were expecting their first child, it looks like “Rumor Has It” singer  Adele has even more good news on the horizon!

I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx

According to a source close to the singer, Adele’s non-profit CEO beau is ready to pop the question to his pregnant GF and has been ready to slip a rock on her finger for a while now…

He was planning to propose anyway!

Another source close to the couple gushed that Adele’s biggest dream is “… to be a wife and mother”.

The 2012 Grammy Awards are upon us and it’s time for GossipTeen fans to weigh in on who will be taking home the coveted “Album of the Year” gramophone.  The five nominees run the gambit from rock to hip hop to pop to well… whatever it is that Lady Gaga does, and we think this year’s vote is going to be closer than ever!

Grammy nominated pop star Adele may be on the road to recovery after microsurgery to remove a benign polyp from her vocal cords, but that hasn’t stopped the 23-year-old from continuing behaviors that could ruin her voice forever!

According to sources, the London-ite was spotted taking a few drags with new BF,  Simon Konecki, after the pair finished a leisurely dinner during a recent trip to Florida.

Adele and Simon had dinner at Bobby Rubino’s in Pompano Beach, Fla., on Jan. 1. Right after they were done, she walked out of the place and had a cigarette outside.

Ugh!  Adeeeellllllle!  If you’re not going to quit for yourself – then quit for the millions of us girls who want to continue belting out your songs while we’re driving all alone in our cars for years to come!

Despite doctors’ warnings, it doesn’t seem like Miss Thang plans to hang up her cancer sticks any time soon and even joked about how not smoking was ruining her life in a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine.

I gave up smoking for two months. It was f—ing grim. I had laryngitis about a week before the album came out and it was so frightening. I stopped smoking, drinking, eating or drinking citrus, spicy foods and caffeine. It was so f—ing boring…. My voice was better when I wasn’t smoking.  Within a week I noticed it had changed, but I’d rather my voice be a bit s–t so I can have a f—ing laugh.

I don’t know if I want to give her a high five for being so super cool or smack her in the face for being a moron…

Pop sensation Adele stepped out this week with her new lover-boy Simon Konecki and the pair made quite a splash as they locked lips trolling for alligators in Florida’s Everglades.

Sounds très romantic, no?

According to a sourse, the singer was “very sweet and caring” with  her new beau.

Adele was taking pictures of him and the scenery . . . they were having fun and were very comfortable with one another.

Konecki, who is 13 years Adele’s senior, is the founder of the charity Drop4Drop, which aims to “to help alleviate the global water crisis” and appeared to be absolutely fixated on his new lady love while they were cruising the glades.

[He was] very attentive… He watched her every move, especially when she was on the dock and on the boat. He wanted to make sure she didn’t fall into the water!  They were lovey dovey with one another [and] very into each other.

Glad our girl has finally found someone worthy of her company!

Grammy nominated songstress Adele, who underwent ”microsurgery to repair recurrent bleeding in her vocal chords from a benign polyp” last month, took to her Twitter today to announce that she is headed “back on the grind”.

Is that British for “back to the grind”?  Those Brits are always fouling up the English language

The 23-year-old Tweeted the above photo of herself looking svelter than ever, along with the sassy caption,

Hair and makeup did… Merry Christmas!”

Could she be any cuter?  Um, nope!

According to sources, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer is,

…In a great place at the moment… She recently started some basic vocal training [but] she’s taking it slowly.

She has time off in her schedule for much of the first quarter of 2012.  Depending on how her voice builds back up, [she might go] to to this medical vocal academy in Seoul. It sounds extreme, but she wouldn’t be the first artist to go there after removing polyps.

The idea of Adele attending a vocal academy is almost laughable.  I understand that it would be solely (ha!) to rebuild her vocal strength, but this girl sitting in a voice class is almost as preposterous as Einstein sitting in on my high school Physics class!

Photogs caught 2011 Grammy nominee Adele stepping out of her London home earlier this week after undergoing intensive throat surgery late last month.  This marks the first time that the 23-year-old singer has been seen in public since canceling her US tour and checking into the hospital for a damaged vocal cord.

Let us be the first to say, ‘Welcome back!’

The slightly more svelte-looking “Turning Tables” singer looked chipper as she chatted with friends and seems to be well on her way to making a full recovery.

According to the songstress herself,

I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all… The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors.

Woo Hoo! Can’t wait to hear more from our girl!

GossipTeen Pick:  SUCH a tough call.  For me, it’s a toss up between Bon Iver’s “Holocene” and Mumford & Sons’ ”The Cave”, but with “Rolling in the Deep’s” huge radio success, Adele  will most likely be the victor for ROY.

GossipTeen Pick:  I’m not overwhelmed by the rock category this year.  If I had to choose, which I do for the sake of this post, I’d go with Jeff Beck’s ”Rock ‘n’ Roll Party Honoring Les Paul”, just because he’s reDICULOUSLY talented – but truthfully, none of the nominees blew me away this go-around.

GossipTeen Pick: It’s either going to be “Watch the Throne” or “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”.  Either way Kanye West comes out a winner, so his ego should be about the size of mainland China by the end of the night.

GossipTeen Pick:  Again, totally underwhelmed by the nominees this year for Country Album of the Year.  The safe pick would be to go with Taylor Swift, but hopefully Lady Antebellum’s “Own the Night” will walk away a winner.

She’s done it again, ladies and gentlemen!

At the American Music Awards last night, country artist Taylor Swift went home with several more AMA statuettes for her collection, but this time she took home the pièce de résistance – the AMA for Artist of the Year!

The 21-year-old singer was also crowned Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album, as only teenaged girls were allowed to cast ballots in this years voting for the AMAs.  ;)

From the podium, Swift thanked her fans, family and “the little sister she never had”, Selena Gomez.  Insert “awww” or “uuugh”

Now, I get that Taylor’s a country icon and all, but with the breakout year that Adele has had (not to mention her vastly superior vocal talent), wouldn’t she be the more appropriate choice for Artist of the Year?
