American Idol Allison Iraheta, who already has a record deal and should be working on her debut album, wore a purple-silver dress that was not completely flattering to attended the Los Premios MTV 2009 Latin America Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Thursday (October 15).

American Idol Allison Iraheta has signed a record deal with 19 Entertainment. The 17 year-old, who finished in fourth place of the 8th season of American Idol, is expected to release her first album which will be licensed to Jive Records this fall.

“I think I’m still in shock that this is happening — getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!” Iraheta said in a statement released to EW by 19 Recordings.

Big congrats to Allison, the last girl standing! She has so much talent and we can’t wait to listen to her debut album.
