American Idol teen star Allison Iraheta and winner Kris Allen delivered a fantastic duet rendition of one of my favorite song, Coldplay’s “The Scientist”, at the 0prah’s No Phone Zone Rally in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 28).

Former American Idol star Allison Iraheta had the honor to perform the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”, before the kick off the 2010 Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday (March 21). Allison, who has run the marathon twice, was also there to cheer for her sister.

Season eight American Idol contestant Allison Iraheta dropped in to Z100′s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City Friday December 11th. The singer is promoting her debut album Just Like You. Hear her first single ‘Friday I’ll Be Over You’ here.

American Idol alum Allison Iraheta is releasing her new single “Friday I’ll Be Over You” and you can hear it now at PopEater.com. The seventeen year old who made it to the final four has just finished the AI tour and is looking ahead for her music.

What were you looking to convey with ‘Friday’?

Pretty much show who I really am as an artist, and what I really want to continue doing for the rest of my life, which is this. Just really do awesome music for the rest of my life.

Catchy tune and it’s perfect for her style – rocker chick with that slightly husky voice.

American Idol Allison Iraheta has signed a record deal with 19 Entertainment. The 17 year-old, who finished in fourth place of the 8th season of American Idol, is expected to release her first album which will be licensed to Jive Records this fall.

“I think I’m still in shock that this is happening — getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!” Iraheta said in a statement released to EW by 19 Recordings.

Big congrats to Allison, the last girl standing! She has so much talent and we can’t wait to listen to her debut album.
