In the wake of her slew of recent arrests, actress Amanda Bynes is attempting to defend her string of erratic behavior.  And by “erratic behavior” we mean a few hit and runs, a DUI, driving with a suspended license and being caught smoking from a pipe in the back of her car in the parking lot of a Baja Fresh…

However, after a news story surfaced about her wandering around an NYC tanning salon naked, the former Nickelodeon star issued a public statement:

I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.

Fair enough Amanda.  Fair enough.

But don’t expect that whole “respecting your privacy” thing to take.  As long as you remain a 26-year-old multi-millionaire living in manhattan, spending crazy amounts of money and hanging with A-listers, you’re going to be the target of the paparazzi.

Want our advice?  Move to Montana.

Somebody needs to take away the keys from these irresponsible Hollywood starlets!

Now don’t get us wrong – we LOVE us some Amanda Bynes!  Who doesn’t love watching What a Girl Wants or She’s the Man on ABC Family on rainy Sunday afternoon?

But seriously now Amanda – Get it together girl!

According to reports, an L.A. woman filed a police report yesterday claiming that the actress who “looked a hot mess” rear-ended her on Ventura Blvd and refused to exchange insurance information.

The woman claims that Bynes said that the damage to both cars was too minor to involve insurance companies and then attempted to repair the woman’s loose bumper herself.  Bynes then apparently left the scene, despite the woman’s attempts to get more information from her.

All of this comes on the heels of Bynes being arrested on suspicion of DUI on April 6 and for hit-and-run incidents of May 5th and 27th! a

Can we all just hope and pray this was just some loopy Amanda Bynes look-a-like and not actually one of our favorite SNICK stars?
