Actress Amanda Bynes pulled a Miley Cyrus by officially deleting her Twitter account (@chicky). The 24 year-old, who plays a mean girl in Emma Stone’s new movie “Easy A”, was apparently tired of all the hateful messages she was getting every time she tweeted something completely irrational or too revealing… or totally dumb!

During Amanda’s stint on Twitter, we have learned she likes to date black men, hot men, hunky man and horny men. Amanda also announced her retirement from acting to get some media attention and then, a month later, she decided to un-retire.

For now… RIP @chicky!! We could bet Amanda will be back on Twitter in less than a month.

Easy A looks like it will be easy to love. Emma Stone finds her inner bad girl, rocks a bustier, exhibits serious ‘tude and lets it all fly in this new clip MTV has posted.

Easy is about Olive Penderghast (Stone) who’s reputation hits the gutter thanks to the high school rumor mill. Olive is reading The Scarlet Letter and decides to own her new infamy and adopts the red letter “A” on her clothes. She makes it her mission to use the negativity to her advantage.

Easy A costars Amanda Bynes, Cam Gigandet, Aly Michalka and Penn Badgley and hits September 17th.

Short lived and not really all that surprising, actress Amanda Bynes has announced she is no longer retired from acting.

The Nickelodeon teen superstar (who moved onto the big screen with movies What A Girl Wants and She’s The Man and then back to television costarring at Jennie Garth’s daughter on What I Like About You) tweeted last month that she’d had enough of the Tinseltown rat race and was retiring at the age of 24. Today, she tweeted the simple statement “I’m unretired.” For good? Long enough to promote her new film due in September? For an hour? Maybe another tweet will come along from the actress and set the record straight. In the meantime, she wants you check out the trailer for her upcoming movie Easy A with Emma Stone, Cam Gigandet, and Aly Michalka. Do it, for Amanda’s sake!

Actress Amanda Bynes just announced her retirement from acting on Twitter, claiming that she is no longer having fun. The former Nickelodeon star, best known for her roles in “She’s The Man” and “Hairspray”, is only 24 years old.

Amanda tweeted, “I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been apart of I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play. Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.”

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired,” she added.

We hope Amanda will reconsider her decision. She is still so young. Amanda’s last movie as an actress is “Easy A” starring Emma Stone (watch movie trailer here).

Amanda Bynes joins the all-star cast of the Farrelly Brothers (Peter and Bobby) latest comedy Hall Pass. The Dumb and Dumber filmmakers have cast Bynes along with Alyssa Milano, Christina Applegate, Jenna Fischer, Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis. The film’s premise:

[...] addresses wanderlust head on with the premise of two married woman giving their husbands a “hall pass” to have extramarital affairs without repercussions, only to go out and play the field themselves.

The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in Atlanta shortly.

Actress Amanda Bynes looks absolutely awkwardly Photoshopped on the cover of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine (January 2010). Amanda is such a beautiful girl that we cannot understand why would someone attempt to put her head on someone else’s body!

Anyway Amanda talks about her desire to have a long acting career and what she looks for in a man, someone to share something more special with. Here are some highlights:

On her career: “I’m at that stage where I’m still young and maybe naive, but I’m figuring it out. All I want is to continue – to have a long career. I want to do stuff that I’m passionate about.”

On what she wants in a potential relationship: “I want someone who’ll be there and who I can trust – that’s really important to me.”

She is someone who has said she never wants to get married and now Amanda Bynes is split from her boyfriend of one year, Doug Reinhardt. It appears her friends didn’t trust the baseball player, believing he was using her for fame.

“She ended it. She had had enough,” a source close to the actress tells Usmagazine.com. “Her friends didn’t trust him. Everyone thought he was using her for celebrity. He was not good, and she was over it. It was definitely her who ended it.”

Ouch! Sounds like she needed to get rid of him.
