‘The Last Airbender’ Behind The Scene Photos
Written by Violet on January 1, 2010 – 9:09 am -The Last Airbender, the live action version of Nickelodeon’s popular animated show, Avatar, isn’t due until July but we are finally getting a few more set photos. The pics were in Empire magazine and our friends at BackseatCuddler.com have them for us to take a peek at. No shots still of Jackson Rathbone as Sokka or Dev Patel as Prince Zuko (there is one shot of Dev on the movie’s imdb page here.) Guess we will have to wait until the full trailer is released in February.
I am looking forward to this. The series was great and I have high hopes that M Night Shyamalan does craft a great film from the material.

The younger Cyrus and the Bonus Jonas voiced characters (the goldfish/princess and the little boy who finds her) for the English-speaking version of the Japanese hit by Hayao Miyazaki. Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas Voice Ponyo
Written by Violet on July 10, 2009 – 8:27 pm -
Little siblings Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas were part of the American cast of voices for the Japanese animated film, Ponyo that premiered at a film festival in Los Angeles about 2 weeks ago. Hayao Miyazaki is a brilliant storyteller that Disney and Pixar now release his films in the US because they admire his work. Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke and Kiki’s Delivery Service are all part of Miyazaki’s long list of great films. The films opens all over the US on August 14th. If you’ve seen it already, let us hear what you think of the youngest Jonas Brother and Miley’s little sis.

Emma Watson Interview
Written by Violet on December 21, 2008 – 11:30 pm -
Promoting her new animated film, The Tale of Desperaux, actress Emma Watson is talking about all aspects of her life: college, future film roles, money, and co-stars. In the fourth Harry Potter film, Goblet of Fire, she starred with future Twilight heartthrob, Robert Pattinson. She is delighted for Pattison and has this to say:
5. What’s your take on all the buzz surrounding ‘Twilight,’ which stars ‘Potter’ alum Robert Pattinson?
God, it’s massive! I have no idea! I haven’t seen it, so I can’t really comment, but I’m just gob smacked by the amount of hype and publicity that it’s getting. It’s incredible. I mean, I’m so happy for Rob — he must be over the moon. I’m so happy that everything’s so successful for him — it’s amazing.
Watson talks about avoiding the paparazzi and where she’s applied to college (Harvard and Yale among others,) and how she stays in touch with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in between films.
