Shay Mitchell was in Washington DC to help kick off the Anti-Bullying Alliance ‘Be A Star’ launched by The Creative Coalition, A-List celebs and WWE at The Washington Club on Friday night.

The Pretty Little Liars star knows first hand how tough being bullied can be. She shared with Teen Vogue her experience with some mean girls at school.

“Girls who used to be my friends bullied me. Instead of eating lunch in the cafeteria, I’d find the quietest place at school and eat by myself,” she remembers.

“I realized that bullying never has to do with you. It’s the bully who’s insecure,” she says. “So I went back to the cafeteria and sat myself down, and when the girls walked by, I just smiled like they didn’t bother me!”

Ariel Winter was in Washington DC and took part in the Anti-Bullying Alliance ‘Be A Star’ launched by The Creative Coalition, A-List celebs and WWE at The Washington Club on Friday night.

The Modern Family actress joined other teen celebs including Angus T. Jones and Shay Mitchell to Show Tolerance And Respect, helping to create a positive environment and treating others with respect.

The 13 year-old recently revealed who her celebrity crushes are.

“There’s this one guy…I know he’s a little older, but Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries,” she told Teen.com. ” And then there’s this really adorable Australian boy who’s in I Am Number Four, Callan McAuliffe. He’s one of my really good friends, and he’s even cuter in person.”

Angus T. Jones is in Washington DC to help kick off The Creative Coalition and WWE’s ‘Be A STAR’ Anti-Bullying Campaign.

The initial dinner, held at The Washington Club in the nation’s capital, brought out the Two and A Half Men star in the fight against bullying.

From the press release: “The mission of “be a STAR” —which stands for ‘Show Tolerance And Respect’—is to ensure a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts beginning with education and awareness. “be a STAR” will promote positive methods of social interaction and encourage people to treat others as equals and with respect because everyone is a star in their own right.”

Jones, who has been on quite a break from his hit TV show, looks like he took the Charlie Sheen-free time off to work out a little extra and he looks great!

The 17 year-old actor’s job is up in the air until CBS and Warner Bros. sort out what they are going to do without Sheen. No decision has been made if they will replace Sheen with another actor or cancel the show all together.
