Actress Ashley Tisdale is not a girl anymore. The former High School Musical star is a grown up woman. She is 25 years old and wants to be seen as a sexy woman, who took her clothes off to try to get rid of the sweet Disney girl image for the upcoming annual issue of Allure’s Naked Truth.

Ashley told the mag, “I’m 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young. Being in this shoot was me saying, ‘I’m not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I’m actually a woman.’”

The Hellcats captain got naked the classy way, contrary to what happened to her HSM co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, whose scandalous topless and naked pictures have been all over the internet for a few years.

Before she posed for the racy photo shoot, Ashley had to get the approval of her mother. “I’ve always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do,” she explains. “Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The ‘believe’ tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe.”

Former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale answered a very difficult M Magazine reader question and gave good advice about how to deal with mean girls in middle school. The actress tells us to ignore the rude and cruel comments and stay positive.

Ashley answers M reader: “I think that you just have to ignore that stuff. I’m a big believer in staying positive and keeping the negative out. I went to regular school so I’ve totally gone through that in the past, it just stems from jealousy and insecurity on the bullies’ part. You have to know that’s why someone is bashing you or talking about you. Just stay true to who YOU are.”

It’s easier said than done, but Ashley is absolutely right. And after you survive middle school and high school, there will be a brand new happy long adult life to live. Stay confident and love yourself!

Actress Ashley Tisdale shares the traumatic experience of kissing her good friend and High School Musical co-star, Zac Efron, who she considers to be like a little brother, in an episode of “Suite Life”.

Ashley said, “I did kiss Zac though. But that wasn’t in High School Musical. That was on Suite Life. That was behind closed doors. No, I’m just joking! “That was disgusting actually. It was! He’s my best friend and so he’s like my brother and I’ve never been attracted to him cause he looked like he was 12 when I met him so…”

So when I had to kiss him in the episode I’m like first of all it’s my best friend’s boyfriend and it’s awkward enough. But it’s like kissing your brother almost… But he made it really fun and comfortable.”

According to Ashley, it was disgusting!! I bet most girls would have a slightly different opinion if they could actually get their hands on super hot Zac!

On Hollywood’s obsession with being thin: “I’ve been very skinny my whole life… I don’t really like this look. I like curves — I think that’s more beautiful… I look at Jessica Alba and think she’s got a great body. I think that’s what women are supposed to look like.”

On her eating habits: “I love French fries and bread, and when I’m on tour I have McDonald’s… At home, I like to cook — I love omelets in the morning. Still, I have started working out, so I do try to limit carbs and add protein. I want to build a little muscle.”

On her new album, Guilty Pleasure: “It’s edgier and more mature… There’s a lot of breakup songs fr’re in a relationship and you say ‘If I really needed you, would you actually be there?’ ”

On her ideal man: “I’m a big romantic, so I love guys who are romantic too. I think it’s important to be with someone that you can be yourself around. I need a guy that I can hang out with in sweats and no makeup and still feel comfortable and beautiful. Someone who’s trustworthy.”

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale couldn’t be happier about her first MTV Movie Awards nomination and she used her Twitter account to thank all the fans for the support!

Ashley tweeted: “OMG just found out I’m nominated for breakthrough female MTV Movie Award!!!!!!! Aaahhh, I am so excited this is my first nomination!”

“Thanks so much to all the fans who helped me get nominated and please keep voting! I love you guys.”
