According to sources, Avril Lavigne has called it quits with boyfriend, Brody Jenner.  The pair, who’ve struggled in the past with trying to find a balance between their relationship and blossoming entertainment careers, finally threw in the towel on their two year relationship.

In insider close to the couple says the split was due to Avril not being willing to let Brody get his moment in the sun.

Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe… He hasn’t worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her…

She made his go to Asia and Europe?  Wow, what a b*tch.  Preeeetty sure Brody could’ve said no to all the tortuous globetrotting if he really wanted to get his “career” in order.

And BTDubs Brody – being a staple on reality TV shows does not count as a “career”.

Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne got into a little girl-on-girl action at a Hollywood hot spot last night, but sorry folks, it wasn’t that kind of action.

According to sources, Lavigne and an unidentified reveler got into a spat at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel around 1AM this morning, but the cause of the argument has not yet been revealed.

Apparently, things got so heated that Avril’s BF, Brody Jenner, had to step in and try and calm the two girls down – which lead to him being struck in the head with a beer bottle.  Probably not the first time that’s happened.

Police were called the scene, but by the time they had arrived the gals had split (she said “see you later bois!”) and no arrests were made.
