Taking on the iconic role of Danny Zuko for a remake of Grease, teen sensation Justin Bieber would have his work cut out for him but Bieber is interested in the possibility and he knows who his Sandy should be: Miley Cyrus.

The beloved movie from the 70s with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John has been talked about for a long time as yet another recycled idea from Hollywood and don’t forget – Travolta was a teen idol from the TV show Welcome Back, Mr. Kotter - so there are some parallels to casting Bieber.

JB also confessed to that having Susan Boyle as Rydell High’s principal and Cheryl Cole as a cheerleader would be fabulous additions:

“I’d want some great people to star in it. Wouldn’t SUSAN BOYLE make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song.”I am obsessed with Susan. When I look at her original audition it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would love to include CHERYL COLE as well. She would look great in the Rydell High cheerleading uniform.”

So are these just random musings by the Canadian pop star? Or is this a real possibility? I can’t find any information that anyone is really working on bringing this idea to the big screen but this story is spreading like wildfire.

Bieber is also rumored as the lead for a Back to the Future reboot however that appears to be a whole lot of nothing.
