Feeling better after being hospitalized last week from “exhaustion and malnutrition,” Selena Gomez is back at it and promoting her new movie Monte Carlo on Good Morning America Friday.

The 18 year-old told the hosts that she wants to enjoy her time with boyfriend, Justin Bieber and not worry about fan backlash.

“I mean I’m young. I spent the first, like, three years hiding and terrifed of things like that. So, I’m just kind of enjoying being young and just having fun and focusing on my fans and my music.”

She’s dated Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner before, so even though she knows what to expect, she’s not immune but goes on with her life in spite of the hate.

“I can’t shut out all of it. I’m human. So I read it and I know what’s being said, obviously. I have better things in my life and I do try to ignore it and I have incredible supporters.”

Selena Gomez and The Scene performed at the 2011 Concert for Hope at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles at the Universal City Walk to support the research and cancer treatment center City of Hope.

The annual event, now in it’s 3rd year, raises money and awareness for the institute working to prevent, treat and educate cancer patients.

Gomez stepped out on the red carpet wearing a cute black and white striped top with red knitted scarf and a set of dog tags almost hidden under the lacy knit. According to Tiger Beat, the dog tags are reportedly identical to the ones Justin Bieber wears.

The 18 year-old Disney star changed into a sparkling fuschia dress from Mandalay and silver ballet flats before hitting the stage. She and her band performed “Who Says” for the first time for the audience.

The Big Time Rush guys have a video for the song “Stuck” that got, well, stuck.

Director Marcus Wagner said:

“This is one of a series of three music videos I directed for BTR, all of them in one day. This particular one never aired, but I liked it and the song better than any of them.”

Carlos Pena, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson and James Maslow are great in this video.

Selena walked the carpet in a one-shoulder dress from Paule Ka and later changed into a patterned waterfall hemline dress by Irina Shabayeva.

Selena Gomez and her band took the award for Favorite Breakout Artist at the ceremony after they performed for the star-studded crowd.

The members of the Big Time Rush band, Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson, offered their fans a fantastic show, which also included a meet and greet, at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.

BTR performed hits like “Famous”, “Till I Forget About You”, “City Is Ours”, “Big Time Rush” and a surprising encore of “Big Night” for more than 9 thousand screaming fans on the four floors of the mall.

After performing, BTR had the opportunity to sign autographs to 700 lucky fans. The Nickelodeon band talked to J-14 exclusively (watch video below). They confessed “City Is Ours” is the song that is getting the best reaction from the fans.

“We’re sitting there for a while and we get to meet thousands of fans that we knew were out there but didn’t know personally,” James Maslow says. “It’s cool to get that personal aspect to it because we really do love them all.”

Kendall Schmidt agrees, telling us, “My favorite thing about the tour is people watching. I saw some really awesome eyes — one girl had like neon green eyes! It was crazy!”

Twilight Saga stars Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone spent Saturday night in Los Angeles at Spike TVs Scream 2010 Awards at the Greek Theater.

In a red carpet interview the duo revealed that they haven’t met Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon yet, but called the script “amazing.” Rathbone also mentioned that Reed will direct a video soon for his band 100 Monkeys.

The Pretty Reckless has released a brand new video for their single “Make Me Wanna Die.” The Taylor Momsen fronted band had a vid circulating back in May for this single: shots of the band performing cut in with a photo shoot for Teen Vogue at the Chelsea Hotel.

A new conceptual piece now accompanies the song, which was originally featured in the Chloe Moretz movie Kick Ass and more recently, used in the season two promo of The Vampire Diaries.

One Night Only singer and guitarist George Craig enlisted Emma Watson to be in the video for the single “Say You Don’t Want It” after the two became friends shooting a Burberry ad campaign. In May, Watson joined the band in New York City to film the vid for the catchy tune. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at Watson and Craig and the band as they made the vid.

iCarly star Jennette McCurdy performed a two hour free concert for attendees of the 2010 Street of Affordable Homes in Forest Grove, Oregon on July 25th. McCurdy, who plays Sam Puckett on the popular Nickelodeon show, covered the classic Carole King tune “So Far Away” and did a great job. Check her out above.

The raven haired beauties of Selena Gomez and Katy Perry will make great pop music together for Selena’s upcoming sophomore album, tentatively titled A Year Without Rain. The bubbly Perry has contributed a song to Selena and the Scene’s latest effort, due in September and has contributed background vocals to the track as well.
