Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were very dedicated in accurately portraying Joan Jett and Cherie Currie’s life in their movie The Runaways. The actresses spent so much time with Jett and Currie they adopted many of their personal habits and idiosyncrasies including how they write.

Watch the video from MTV to hear Kristen explain “…the emotional connection to capture an essence” and how she used that to bring the legend to life.

Who’s going to The Runaways opening weekend March 19th?

A new photo of Jackson Rathbone as Sokka from the film The Last Airbender, has surfaced. The actor is shown (in what I believe to be) the South Pole with a child from his tribe.

The summer will be a great time for Jackson fans. His two movies, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens June 30th and the following week, The Last Airbender hits theaters, July 2nd.

The second season of Disney’s hit show JONAS has moved the brothers to California for tv show fun. Joe, Nick and Kevin are back and now that Cali is the location, beach scenes will be part of the storyline. Here are shots of all three brothers filming an upcoming episode. Enjoy the peek.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards had all three Jonas Brothers together again on Sunday, January 31st. Joe Jonas, sporting glasses, wore a D & G suit while brothers Nick and Kevin wore Gucci and Lanvin respectively. Gotta say - I like Joe’s look - very retro cool.

Nick Jonas & The Administration gave a great performance of his hit single ‘Who I Am’ on The Jay Leno Show Friday January 29th. Nick is also a presenter at the Grammy Awards tonight (Sunday 1/31) and his debut album is due out Tuesday February 2nd.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are in Park City, Utah at the Sundance Film Festival promoting their other film together The Runaways. The two teen costars popped in to a Joan Jett and the Blackhearts concert at Harry O’s on Sunday January 24th and appeared briefly onstage with Jett and former Runaways bandmate, Cheri Currie.

Fanning is portraying Currie in the upcoming movie and Stewart will be seen as Jett in the pic that chronicles the rise of the all teenage girl band of the seventies.

The flick opens Friday March 19th and will be talked about just for the kissing scene between Stewart and Fanning.

Nick Jonas is doing lots of press to support his solo effort, Nick Jonas and the Administration. While he was in New York City, MTV caught up with NJ and asked him about the latest addition to the Jonas clan, sister-in-law Danielle.

“It’s amazing,” he said. “She’s here … with her whole family and they’re great. I’m so happy to have her [be] a part of our family. It’s kind of hard to believe I’ve got a sister-in-law and it’s wonderful.”

And while the brothers all have nicknames, the singer said hers is ‘just Dani.’

Nick Jonas was in NYC on Friday and sat in Regis Philbin’s chair as co-host for the daytime talk show Live With Regis & Kelly. Part 1 is above.

With Kevin Jonas getting married and Nick Jonas off doing his music thing with his new band, The Administration, Joe Jonas has been fairly quiet. As Camp Rock 2 pics and promos are starting to come out, Joe is talking more about an acting career, specifically how he’d love a part in a James Bond movie.

“I’m willing to read for anything. Acting is something I love and I want to do it all. It would be an awesome dream to get a part in a James Bond movie. We’re big fans of Daniel Craig. DC is the best and it would be an honor. It’s a prestigious film series.”

Joe was going to be part of the ensemble movie Valentine’s Day, with Emma Roberts, Taylor Lautner and his ex - Taylor Swift, however scheduling just couldn’t be worked out.

Nick Jonas and the Administration first official video for the single ‘Who I Am’ is here! Everyone is talking about Nick and his band. What do you think of the vid?

While the Jonas Brothers as a group are taking a bit of a break, Nick Jonas and the Administration are gearing up to start touring and promoting the side project. The youngest of the three band members, Jonas says the response for his solo album has been “so positive.” Nick is getting ready for his concert in Nashville, TN at the Ryman on Monday January 4th and had this to say about the legendary city of music and his brother’s support:

What made you choose Nashville as the setting to record your solo album?
“All of us in the band wanted to step outside of our comfort zone, to go to a place where we hadn’t spent too much time before, where we could get away from our element. We wanted to focus on this record.”
What led to the decision to make a new project? Had these songs been kicking around for years, or did you write them with a new project in mind?
“The writing for this record really started in October of last year. I was writing songs that, stylistically, weren’t necessarily like the Jonas Brothers sound, and I didn’t know what to do with them. I met with my brothers and talked to them about this idea that I had to do a side project, to go to Nashville with these guys and record (an album). I wanted to make sure that they were OK with it first before I made any move on it. They said, ‘We’re excited for you. We know that you have a lot that you’re passionate about, and we’re here to support you.’ So that worked out nicely.”

Nick Jonas and the Administration album comes out February 2. 2010 and the band will be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on January 8th.
