And looked FIERCE doing it!

After her highly ridiculed, lip-synched rendition of The Star Spangled Banner during President Barack Obama’s inauguration last month, pop star Beyoncé put on her big girl pants (or tights…) and showed the world that she can still bring it during her Super Bowl XLVII halftime appearance.

The 31-year-old looked and sounded better than ever during her super high energy, 13-minute long set, which featured some legitimately impressive choreography.  Her dance moves (and costumes) were tight, her vocals were spot on and her all-girl band/dance team?  Couldn’t have been better!

Not to mention the fact that former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams popped up on stage like two t-shirts out of one of those t-shirt launcher-thingys.  We would L-O-V-E to see some behind the scenes footage of those girls trying that for the first time?  Can you say major wipeout!?

Oh, and we hate to say ‘We told you so,’ about our prediction of a Destiny’s Child reunion, but we just can’t help ourselves.

I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly! I don’t think you’re ready for this…Super Bowl halftime show!!!

According to NFL cheerleader Courtney Labat, the gals of Destiny’s Child ARE reuniting for tomorrow night’s Super Bowl halftime show.  Labat, who apparently had no idea that the D.C. performance was supposed to be kept under wraps (way to dispel the ditsy cheerleader stereotype, Court…), spilled the beans when she was asked by a reporter how rehearsals were going for Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Yeah, they’ve been awesome. We were actually able to see the show yesterday.

While we still sort of wish we could’ve been surprised over this totally awesome reunion, we’re pretty pumped that we’ve got a full 24-hours to refresh our “Bootylicious” dance moves!

According to a source, pop diva Beyonce chose to lip-synch to a prerecorded track during her performance of The Star Spangled Banner at President Barack Obama’s inauguration Monday night.

A rep for the Marine Corps band who accompanied Beyonce during her performance,

All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day. We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the reason why.

We all know Beyonce can sing… We don’t know why she chose to use the pre-recorded track.

We get that there are tons of factors that could’ve caused the “Halo” singer to cancel her live vocals, but we feel it’s only fitting to point out that our girl Kelly Clarkson performed her rendition of My Country Tis of Thee without backing tracks or prerecorded vocals.

Marine Corps band director Colonel Michael J. Colburn who worked to prep the stars for the event said that 31-year-old singer’s decision not to sing live may have been because she had so little time to prepare.

We had Kelly [Clarkson] in over the weekend to rehearse and record. Beyonce, she’s getting ready for the Super Bowl, so we didn’t have a chance to do anything with her until last night.

Super Bowl or Presidential Inauguration? Super Bowl or Presidential Inauguration?  Seems like one of those should’ve taken precedent…

People Magazine has named the perennially fierce Beyonce Knowles as the World’s Most Beautiful Woman in this weeks issue, and we here at GossipTeen could not be happier.

First of all, let’s not kid ourselves here, Beyonce has always been smokin’ hot, but this chick like just had a baby and still looks absolutely incredible!

Jay Z, you are a lucky man.

Pop star Katy Perry pulled out her razor-sharp claws during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, and took a swipe at fellow diva Beyonce and her 2007 hit “Beautiful Liar”.

According to the interview, Perry and her bestie Rihanna, are currently working together on a duet to be released later this year and they are absolutely not using Beyonce as their muse.

We’ve collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet… It’s one of those things that’s got so much build up that we have to deliver… I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song ‘Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves… Not ‘Beautiful Liar.’

Katy are you sure you really want to go on the offensive with Ms. Beyonce Knowles?  Not only could she probably beat you to a pulp, but she’s got a new baby and those mama bear hormones are not something you want to mess with.

Beyonce looked absolutely stunning at her husband Jay Z’s 40/40 Club in New York City Monday night, where she made her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy only a month ago.

Jay Z is a lucky man!

But let’s get real here – Either Mama B was wrapped up in about 3,000 sq. ft. of Saran Wrap under that skintight frock (an Alice by Temperleyor) or she has made the quickest “baby bump bounce back” in the history of womankind!  Let us in on your secret girl!

Regardless of her undergarment choice, the 30-year-old looks like a glowing new mommy and we wish her and her new family all the happiness in the world.

Despite rumors that their little bundle of joy was born last week, hip hop stars Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z officially confirmed that they welcomed daughter Blue Ivy into the world yesterday.

Sources saw Jay Z, along with Beyonce’s sister Solange and parents Tina and Matthew Knowles, walking the hospital halls Saturday morning sporting ”flowers with pink balloons and silver and black ribbons.”

The couple chose the name ”Ivy” because of the significance of the number “4″ or “IV,” for both singers – Beyonce and Jay-Z were born on September 4th and December 4th, respectively, were married on April 4th and Beyonce’s latest album is entitled 4.

Okay, but where the heck did they get “Blue”?

This is the first child for both artists and according to reports, “Baby and Mom are doing just fine.”

While no official word has been released from either artist’s camp, rumor has it that Jay Z and Beyonce’s bouncing baby girl has arrived!   According to sources, the 30-year-old gave birth to the couple’s first child Tiana May Carter at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City yesterday – just in time to make her a 2011 baby!

While the singer originally announced her due date as sometime in February 2012 we’re happy the precious little one has already made her appearance into the world.

A girl!

Beyonce is thrilled she’s having a daughter. She and her mother are so close, and she’s wanted to have that relationship with her own child.

This little gal is, without a doubt, going to be the sassiest little diva ever born – word has it that Miss B is already designing a 2,200 square foot nursery for her little bundle of joy.

They do know they’re giving birth to just one child and not a whole litter…right?

Super cute Nick Jonas, whose debut solo album “Who I Am” just came out this week, sits at the piano to show his brothers, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, and Jordin Sparks some new songs “he created”. Lady GaGa’s “Poker Face” and Beyonce’s “Halo”. Hilarious!!

Nick is also surprised to find out one of his brothers was on American Idol (Joe as a judge), the other just tied the knot (Kevin) and Jordin actually won American Idol… we know! GASP!!
