Summit Releases Statement On Breaking Dawn Leaked Pics

Written by Gossip Gal on April 4, 2011 – 3:31 pm -

Last week, the first productions still of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s steamy and hot honeymoon stills were leaked. Summit Entertainment immediately tried to pull all the images from the internet, which is like virtually impossible once an image or information hits the World Wide Web.

Author Stephenie Meyer, director Bill Condon, producer Wyck Godfrey and Summit Entertainment released a joint statement asking fans to not distribute the pictures or share them online. They want us to patiently wait for the final product. Can you wait?

Filmmaker Statement Regarding Breaking Dawn Leaks:
Dear Twilight Saga fans,

As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as a work in progress have leaked on the internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage.

The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.

Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don’t view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.

Sincerely,

Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, Wyck Godfrey and Summit Entertainment

We cannot wait for Breaking Dawn!!

Bill Condon is so shrewd and I love him for it!

The director of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn is slipping another bit of Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) goodness our way. The honeymoon photo of the two hot and sexy young costars has popped up online. Pattinson and Stewart are embracing in bed in married bliss in the still.

Condon told EW:

“I spent a tremendous amount of time thinking about it. The anticipation is part of it and you want to play with what people expect and maybe subvert it a little and surprise them.”

See the Christmas photo Condon released here. And the feather teaser picture here.

Twilight Saga NEWS: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Gets Release Date

Written by Gossip Gal on August 4, 2010 – 6:30 pm -

This is the end!! The end of Twilight and the end of an era in the movie industry! The Part II of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”, fifth and final movie, will hit theaters on November 16, 2012. REALLY!!

Breaking Dawn Part I will be released November 18, 2011. And then, we will all have to wait another year to see the final scenes of The Twilight Saga! NOT fair! However, it is one heck of a marketing strategy – make it last longer!

SPOILER: The big scene set to divide the two movies is the epic childbirth scene and Bella’s transformation. I have no clue how they will manage to pull it off, but there won’t be any graphic images and gory details. Boo!

“The childbirth – all the scenes, I feel – should be on screen,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg said. “Would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that.”

She adds with a laugh: “If someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that.”

And I respond to Mrs. Rosenberg! The people who want to see that scene are the same people who actually read the Twilight Saga books, so please do not offend the fans, suggesting we are all crazy obsessed people. Anyway! We cannot wait to see Breaking Dawn!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – A Director Is Chosen

Written by Violet on April 28, 2010 – 5:43 pm -

Summit Entertainment has announced who the director for the fourth (perhaps fifth) film of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be. The chair goes to Bill Condon, the Oscar winner who steered Dreamgirls and Jennifer Hudson to Academy Award glory. Of course, Summit is dragging out the rest of the questions everyone wants answered: four films or five? 2D or 3D? Will everyone return to their original roles? When will filming start? (fall is the most likely) What is the target date for release? Here is Condon’s statement:

“I’m very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen. As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book – and we’re hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience,” said Bill Condon.

While no one is officially locked down, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s schedules are suspiciously empty come fall and all are expected to sign on. (Let’s not have another Rachelle Leferve fiasco again, please.)

Finally a little movement on the final film in the Twilight series.
