Actress/singer Miley Cyrus, who recently disappointed her fans when she deleted her Twitter account, confessed she does NOT miss the social networking site she used to use non-stop.

Miley spilled, “I really haven’t missed it. I thought I was going to miss it a lot –more than I do, but I haven’t even really looked at other people’s, which is really weird. I don’t really miss it. It’s kind of odd.”

“It was 3:30 or 4 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep. [I thought], ‘Maybe I could sleep if I wasn’t so friggin’ busy Twittering about not being able to sleep!’”

I think I have the same problem… except I do not have the strength to delete my Twitter account!! What about you guys? Will you follow Miley’s footsteps and leave it so you have more time for yourselves??

Actor Jackie Chan is set to star in “The Spy Next Door,” an action-comedy which centers on a man (Chan) who is called to baby-sit his neighbor’s children and winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code.

This action flick “The Spy Next Door” features special performances by Billy Ray Cyrus and ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ hottie Lucas Till. Lucas will get some super cool fight scenes with Jackie (watch video below).

“To my dearest fans,

You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered “working. But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a “normal” life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don’t love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can’t have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.

Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences. That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.

Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.

I really hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I truly care about each and every one of you. I will keep in touch through Mileyworld and MileyCyrus.com as I did before twitter. I love you all.

In an exclusive interview for J-14, Trace Cyrus, reveals the real reasons why his sister Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account, disappointing her loyal fans (watch Miley Cyrus Twitter Rap Video). Trace, who won’t be deleting his account any time soon, also talked about his father Billy Ray Cyrus’ obsession with Twitter and how using the famous social network can affect his 9 year-old sister Noah Cyrus. Here are some highlights:

ON WHY MILEY QUITTING TWITTER IS NEWS: I totally understand why it’s a big deal. Kids want to feel like they can communicate with their favorite artist — they feel like they’re missing something now.

ON MILEY’S REASON FOR DELETING HER ACCOUNT: I think she just wants to be more free in life. She said it to me the best that I could have heard anyone say it — she said she wants to live her life more than tweet about it, which completely makes sense to me. If she’s spending all her time on the computer just talking about what she’s doing, there’s so much more life out there to live. When she said that to me, it really all made sense.

ON WHETHER HE’LL BE FOLLOWING HER FOOTSTEPS: I’m hanging onto mine. I haven’t felt like it’s taken over my time too much yet. I still feel like I have some control over my life.

ON WHY HIS DAD, BILLY RAY CYRUS, WANTS HER BACK ON TWITTER: My dad — he shocks me with that! I think it’s the first Web site he’s been able to use ever — at all. He’s just trying to keep the whole world on it! Like with MySpace and everything, my dad didn’t even know what that was. And then all of a sudden, Twitter came around and he was taking pictures of my new tattoos and posting them and I was like, what’s going on? I’ve never seen this happen before! My dad’s just now getting into the 21st century.

ON 9-YEAR-OLD SISTER NOAH ON TWITTER: Noah’s the next star of the family for real. She has a crazy personality for a 9-year-old. As much good as there is out there, there’s always going to be just as much evil. She’s young and I don’t want anything to hurt her too much, but I think growing up in this kind of family, I think she’s smart enough to know what to read and what to take to heart and what’s she should let roll off her shoulders. She does it on her own, but she also has some people help her.

Miley Cyrus may have deleted her Twitter account to prove her love to new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth but daddy Billy Ray Cyrus is not happy about it. In fact, Billy Ray wants Miley to come back to Twitter and her loyal fans that have always supported her.

Billy Ray tweeted, “I understand ‘it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch.’ But listen to the words of your songs ‘Stand… for what ya believe in’…Remember? Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born”Destiny Hope Cyrus” for a reason. You can’t leave everyone now. We r countin on u.”

Miley should stay true to herself! There is always going to be people who want to put you down and envy your success, however, the fans need you to keep strong and be there for them! Come back, Miley!!!

The controversial pole dancing segment of Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The USA” performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards (photos) shocked parents and caused controversy but for super daddy Billy Ray Cyrus it’s all business.

Billy Ray told Access Hollywood, “You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting.” He continued, “I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion. I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice.”

It’s easier to not give a straight answer about this subject. Miley is just sixteen years old. If she is pole-dancing now what will she do when she is 24!?! Will Miley Cyrus become just another wasted talent, a trainwreck!?! We sure hope not! Time for daddy to do something now before it is too late!

Trace Cyrus is better known as Miley Cyrus’ older brother and I’m sure that can get annoying after a while. While I would guess he is proud to be her sibling, he would naturally want to make his own mark on the music world with his band, Metro Station. Giving an interview with MensStyle.com Cyrus gave a few provocative quotes that will help raise his own profile, especially what he says regarding The Jonas Brothers:

Q: But you idolize bands like Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe, and you party in ways pop acts like the Jonas Brothers couldn’t.
A: I’m not trying to clean my image to make anyone happy. I could have gone the route of the Jonas Brothers. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put out this image that’s totally fake.

Q: Which Jonas Brother would be the toughest to take in a fight?
A: I don’t think any of them would be much trouble. I’d never lay a hand on Nick—I love that kid—but the other two better not get in my way.

While the JoBros may never own up publicly to that, I have to agree. They definetly seem to be boxed in by the image that has been crafted for them.

Cyrus also talks about the music scene today - how hard it is to get heard on the radio and how much more open European fans are to new bands (a sentiment echoed by Kings Of Leon recently as well.)

Miley Cyrus debunks the rumors about her relationship with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus being way too intimate for father and daughter as these photos for the controversial Vanity Fair spread show (photos here>>). Miley uses her autobiography “Miles To Go” to express her feelings and opinions about this subject.

Miley says: “The media has said some stuff about my dad and me being too close and too cuddly for a father and a daughter,” the 16-year-old actress-singer writes in “Miles to Go,” a new memoir. “For me and my dad it’s not weird at all.”

Miley affirms she loves her daddy and isn’t afraid to show it off no matter how creepy we might thing they are. Go Miley!

Miley confesses: “We don’t let other people tell us what expressions we’re supposed to have on our faces when we take a picture together!”
