Keke Palmer is very fortunate and the soon-to-be 17 year-old knows it. Palmer’s seventeenth b-day is just around the corner and the True Jackson VP star is requesting something from you: help out those who need clean drinking water. From Keke’s blog:

Hey guys,
I have been working with charities that help children starting way back when I was in Akeelah and The Bee, but I have never done anything like this, I was just so moved by My Charity Water and wanted to help bring clean water to children, water should be clean and available to all people at least that is how I feel, I just want to help in some way.

On August 26th I turn 17th, but instead of birthday presents this year I am asking friends, family, and fans to help me bring clean water to children. I have been so very blessed in my life and it would truly be a great birthday if I could use it to help someone in need.

Sweet sixteen it is for Dakota Fanning today, February 23rd. The star of the upcoming film The Runaways, celebrated over the weekend with a dinner in Beverly Hills. Happy Birthday to Dakota!

Victoria Justice celebrates her 17th birthday today: February 19th. The Nickelodeon actress, who is filming her brand new tv show, Victorious, took to her twitter to announce how happy she was:

“Today’s officially my birthday!!!! I’m shocked that people are remembering haha. I have the best friends,family, and fans in the world”

She has a lot to celebrate – she passed her driver’s test on the 18th and she is the cover girl for the winter 2010 issue of SIX7*8th magazine.

Congrats and Happy B-day! Looking forward to her show’s premiere in March.

Taylor Lautner stepped on to the red carpet for the premiere of his latest non-Twilight flick, Valentine’s Day. The actor, who turned 18 on February 11th, was his usual dashing self in gray. His other teen costars for the movie, Emma Roberts was at the Los Angeles event (see her pics here) while Taylor Swift is touring in Australia.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens finds herself on Vanity Fair’s “Women To Watch Out for” list in the February issue of the magazine. The Sucker Punch star talks about her love/hate thing with the paparazzi:

“It was like, ‘Oh, my God! No way! So cool.’ The second day it happens, it’s like, Never mind. Maybe it’s not as cool as I thought it’s going to be.”

Vanessa Hudgens celebrated her 21st birthday on December 14th while she was in Vancouver filming Sucker Punch. Her longtime boyfriend, Zac Efron, got her a very green and eco-friendly gift: three fruit trees for her backyard. The citrus trio, a lemon, orange and tangerine tree, were planted for her as a surprise when she returned to Los Angeles. Romantic, thoughtful, unique and long lasting – great gift!

The Veronicas debuted their latest song ‘Could’ve Been’ last week. The Austrailian sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso also get a belated birthday shout out for their 25th on the 25th. The December birthday babes gave their fans a present with this beautiful accoustic song. Hope they got equally great presents.

Superstar Taylor Swift turned 20 earlier this week and to mark her milestone birthday, the singer donated $250,000 to schools around the country

“Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education,” says Swift. “The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.”

The generous gift will be used to at schools Swift has either attended or worked with in the past and will buy books, pay teacher’s salaries and pay for other educational programs in need. One more reason to love Sweetheart Swift.

Country star Taylor Swift is 20 years old today!! Taylor is not a teen anymore – our girl is growing up so fast and so beautifully! 2009 was an amazing year for the singer, who won almost every award available.

Taylor was born in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Scott Swift, a stock broker, and his wife Andrea, a homemaker. She has a younger brother, Austin. At the tender age of ten, she began writing songs and singing at karaoke contests, festivals, and fairs around her hometown. Taylor later moved to Nashville to launch her career.
