Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman released his fashion guide You Know You Want It: Style - Inspiriation - Confidence on December 15, 2009. On Tuesday January 12, 2010 he gathered his GG guys and gals for a launch party celebrating the success of the book. Jessica Szohr, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg were among those who turned out.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively takes off her pants and strikes a pose for the cover of the latest issue of Esquire Magazine (February 2010). The 22 year-old actress is currently working on a new movie, “The Town” with Ben Affleck, where she plays a woman who is victim of a sexual assault.

The sex scenes were the hardest to shot because it can only be awkward, right!?! Yes, it was! “I have a sex scene in this film and that’s never comfortable,” Blake tells Esquire. “You think, ‘Oh, this is going to be so awkward.’ But this scene isn’t supposed to be a steamy one – it’s sort of tragic. … I’m pretty much crying in it.”

Blake Lively is joining the superhero flick The Green Lantern. The Gossip Girl star will play Carol Ferris, girlfriend/love interest of Hal Jordan and his hero alter ego played by Ryan Reynolds. Shooting is scheduled to begin in March in Louisiana and the comic book inspired flick should be in theaters in June 2011.

The end of 2009 is here today so let’s take a look back at the best TV shows aimed at and about teenagers. Some are more realistic than others and some are just downright guilty pleasures, but here are the Top 10 of 2009.

10. Gossip Girl - CW

Based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series about spoiled NYC teens on the Upper East Side was launched in 2007 and has been a favorite ever since. While ratings have slipped this year, it is still talked about. The cast (Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley) is super hot and garners lots of press. Hopefully the storylines will pick up and get it back on track.

9. Make It Or Break It - ABC Family

Chelsea Hobbs, Josie Loren, Ayla Kell and Cassie Scerbo are the gymnastic Olympic hopefuls at “The Rock” in Boulder Colorado, training for their shot at the big time. ABC Family’s hit show (scoring their second best premiere) gives athletic teen girls a chance to see and strive for something more than boys and clothes.

8. True Jackson, VP - Nickelodeon

Keke Palmer is terrific as the Vice President of a teen clothing line and her navigation in the world of business and all the normal drama that comes from being a teenager. Palmer is funny, charming and talented. Her costars Ashley Argota and Matt Shively play off her well and the premiere set lots of ratings records for the network.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively appears completely nude in the arms of Alan Arkin for a hot scene of her new movie “The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee” (NSFW photo below). The 22 year-old actress confesses that it’s always a bit uncomfortable being naked and exposed in front of so many people on set.

As for her character Pippa, Blake says that she is not looking for a sexual partner but for someone to be her Daddy and take care of her. Blake said, “It’s not lust that attracts her to him. It’s that she doesn’t have a parent. It’s him fulfilling that hole of a parent. He’s the first person that guides her, and that provides her security and comfort, so that’s what their relationship was about. So, we weren’t busy trying to fabricate sexual chemistry.”

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively flaunted her amazing lady curves in a daring outfit to attend the screening of her new movie ‘The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee’ at AMC Loews in New York City on Sunday (November 15).

Blake can do no wrong! She has fabulous legs, amazing cleavage but showing it all at the same time is perhaps a bit too much! I would at least not wear that big bow in such a small tiny white jacket.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively graces the cover of the latest issue of Nylon Magazine (December 2009). Blake talk about fashion and how she dresses just like Selena, riding elephants, pranking her friends and her empathetic nature.

The 22 year-old seems to be a very sweet, talented girl and definitely deserves to be recognized for her incredible work on CW’s hit show. Here are some highlights from Blake Lively’s Nylon interview:

On punking her friends: “I swipe my friends with, like, my phone or something, - I slide it in their butts. Like in middle school! You say ‘Visa! Mastercard!’ Just to give somebody a jump. I’m a prankster.”

On riding elephants on her recent vacation to Thailand, India and the Maldives: “Elephants are the most incredible creatures I’ve ever been around. You’re sitting in this water that they poop in, and somehow it’s not gross. You’re scrubbing the bottom of their feet and behind their ears…”

On how she relates to Serena: “I dress just like Serena! I own half her wardrobe, so it’s far too similar to the way I dress. I feel ridiculous at times with her – because I’m, you know, killing someone or marrying someone, but I look like me. I’m like, ‘Oh, this is absurd.’”

On her new film, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee: “I had a leash around my neck, and Julianne Moore was taking pictures. I thought, What am I doing with my life? What is happening? How is this a good idea?”

On her empathetic nature: “I feel a lot. I get really bad stomachaches all the time. So I went to a doctor, and he said, ‘You’re a feeler.’ I take on people’s pain a little too much.”

Actor Penn Badgley, who is currently dating his co-star Blake Lively (photos), offers great advice on how to build a good, strong and lasting relationship. Passion and trust are the most important.

“Passion is number one and trust is number two,” says Penn. “You need to start with a passionate connection, and if you can maintain it and cultivate it, that’s most important. Then trust can develop. I have both now, and it’s been an incredible thing.”

Awww!! Blake is one lucky girl! The Gossip Girl actor is so romantic and he even knows how to cook some exotic, spicy dishes to make a girl go hmmmm…

“Earlier this year I went to Thailand and took some cooking classes,” he reveals. “I learned how to make classic Thai dishes, which are exotic, spicy and quick and easy to make-and a rare thing to cook for a woman. I made a yellow curry with pineapple. I think pineapple is very sexy. It reminds me of bikinis and the beach.”

Pineapple is definitely sexy (and healthy) but not as sexy as Penn!

Actress Blake Lively was absolutely stunning in a daring red dress at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 20). Blake took her mother as a date to the awards show. They must have had a blast!
