The Vampire Diaries 2.05 ‘Kill Or Be Killed’ PHOTOS
Written by Violet on October 6, 2010 – 11:20 pm -The Vampire Diaries is on tonight (Thursday October 7th) with episode 5: “Kill or Be Killed.” This sounds like a Lockwood family/werewolf heavy episode (with a dash of Caroline run amok) which is OK by me as long as there are lots of shirtless shots of Taylor Kinney and Michael Trevino. I’m just sayin’…
MASON’S PAST IS REVEALED — Tyler (Michael Trevino) learns more about the Lockwood family curse from Mason (guest star Taylor Kinney). Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) argue over how to handle Mason. Elena (Nina Dobrev) tries to keep Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) from becoming more involved with the Lockwood mystery, but Jeremy makes an effort to hang out with Tyler. Mason gives Sheriff Lockwood (Marguerite MacIntyre) some startling information, leading to a night of violence, confession and heartbreak. Candice Accola also stars. Jeff Woolnough directed the episode written by Mike Daniel.

Vampire Diaries SPOILERS: Katerina Graham On Bonnie’s Evolution
Written by Gossip Gal on September 16, 2010 – 5:36 pm -Actress Katerina Graham, who is also an incredible singer, talks about the evolution of her “The Vampire Diaries” character Bonnie Bennett, who returned with a new fearless and confident demeanor, in an exclusive interview for TV Guide.
Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham Sings “Cold Hearted Snake?” AUDIO
“She’s definitely a lot stronger and more empowered and less fearful,” Katerina said. “She started off as this timid sidekick and she’s been through so much that she’s really had to develop an inner strength. She’s shot through the roof in terms of being more honest. There’s a lot of guilt that if she would have said, ‘No we’re not [opening the tomb], figure it out yourself’, she would still have her grandmother.”
SPOILER: Katerina revealed that Bonnie gets really angry over Damon Salvatore’s (Ian Somerhalder) reckless behavior and she will do something unthinkable in the second episode of the new season of The Vampire Diaries, which will air tonight (September 16).
Read some highlights of Katerina Graham’s TV Guide interview below. She talks about Bonnie and Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) solid friendship and what will change Bonnie and Caroline’s (Candice Accola) friendship forever.

The Vampire Diaries “The Return” Recap
Written by Violet on September 10, 2010 – 12:05 pm -The second season of The Vampire Diaries premiered Thursday night and wow! was it great!
The aptly titled episode “The Return” brought back so much more than just what we initally thought. Not only did Elena Gilbert’s doppleganger Katherine Pierce return (in crazy, manipulative vampire form with both parts played very well by Nina Dobrev) there was a return of the nasty, bitter, I-hate-humanity Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and the dominance of the Elena/Stefan (Paul Wesley) romance.
The show picks up right where season one ended… if you haven’t seen it and want to remain in the dark – don’t go any farther!

Katerina Graham Dishes Music, ‘Honey 2′ & ‘The Vampire Diaries’
Written by Violet on July 9, 2010 – 7:57 pm -
Katerina Graham is riding a fantastic wave right now. Her first single, “Sassy” off her upcoming debut album is a hit on iTunes, she landed the lead in Honey 2 for the big screen and she is the witch who’s gonna bring it to the vamps in season 2 of The Vampire Diaries. The NY Post has a great interview with Graham and she gives up lots of deets:
On “Sassy” as the first song: “I like to see what the fans like and what they’re gravitating towards – “Sassy” was on the blogs and I was pushing it independently — I noticed it getting all this traction, so the fans decided – at least in my mind – “Sassy” would be the first single, or the first official song from me as an artist.”
On her role in Honey 2: “But what I love about this script is it’s grimier, it’s grittier. It’s about this Puerto Rican chick from Brooklyn that is just getting out of juvie. Her dancing is tougher, her life is tougher — she has more to lose and everything to win. This girl’s fight was what drew me to the movie. I had to get that story out, I had to do that character. Our “Honey” is very different. The first one set an incredible bar, but I believe we raise it.”
On Bonnie kicking some undead butt in season 2 of TVD: “I will say that Bonnie is really, really tough in the first episode back. She is not playing around. Bonnie will eff you up if you mess with her! She is also going to have to deal with Katherine. And that’s a whole new beast. Literally.”
Can’t wait. Katerina is great.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 2 Scoop
Written by Violet on May 30, 2010 – 10:49 pm -The Vampire Diaries went out with a bang this season. Fingers and superpowered rings went flying, more burning vampires, the sad end of Anna (Malese Jow) and that kiss between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and (Nina Dobrev’s) Elena, err Katherine… How does the show top all of that for season 2?
Executive producer Julie Plec gives up some serious sophmore year scoopage: Elena and Katherine (related? check!) Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Matt (Zach Roerig) forge a friendship and the werewolves are coming! the werewolves are coming!
Plec says writer Kevin Williamson is working on getting all our favorite characters more involved in the overall mythology of the show: Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Jeremy (Steven R McQueen) will get more screen time – Yes!
I want to know – is there a Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon romance in this season? I can wait for season 3, if I must, but I am totally on Team Bamon.
What do you want to have happen for season 2?
Check out more pics below of Ian, Nina and Paul when they were in New York City promoting TVD.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Episode 20: “Blood Brothers”
Written by Violet on April 26, 2010 – 4:45 pm -The Vampire Diaries is getting close to the finale of it’s first year and I, for one, cannot wait to see what writers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec have in store for us. In the meantime episode 20 “Blood Brothers” is up next on Thursday April 29th. Here is the synopsis for the ep:
ELENA LEARNS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WHEN DAMON AND STEFAN WERE TURNED — While Stefan struggles to come to terms with his past, both he and Damon reveal parts of their history to Elena, until she finally learns the truth about how they became vampires. Pearl has an ugly confrontation with Jonathan Gilbert. Damon and Alaric try to find a mysterious invention before Jonathan does. The friendship and flirtation between Jeremy and Anna continues to grow.
