Poor Brit Brit.  First her relationship with fiance Jason Trawick hits a rough patch and now this?

According to sources, X Factor host Britney Spears will be getting the ax at the end of this season because, well, she’s not as nutty as she once was!

One X Factor insider revealed that the show’s creator Simon Cowell is disappointed with the lack of antics Britney has drummed up the show this season.

He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.

Too bad your show didn’t air back in 2008 Simon…

Another insider shared that X Factor producers aren’t interested in renewing Britney’s $15 contract to have her “say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps.”  Yeah, we can understand that.  We thought the “It’s Not in Your Control” singer would have a little bit more to offer as a mentor.

We wonder who they’ll get to replace her???  Ooooh our wheels are already spinning!

During last night’s episode of The X Factor, host Britney Spears got a hankerin’ for some serious booty shaking!

The 30-year-old pop star stood up during a performance of Vanilla Ice’s hit “Ice Ice Baby” and started shaking her money-maker in front of the studio audience.

Now, we’re not necessarily saying that Brit’s dancing was “bad” per se; what we are saying is that it was completely and totally awkward.  Almost as if the producers of the show whispered in her ear during the commercial break that she needed to spice things up a bit.

We love you Brit Brit, but next time the rhythm moves you, save it for when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Who says Britney Spears is over the hill?

The 30-year-old mother-of-two Tweeted this rockin’ picture of herself in a gorgeous white bikini yesterday, along with the caption:

Y’all ready for summer to end? I’m definitely not!

And neither are we after seeing how much work we have left to do to catch up to the stunning Ms. Spears!  Who knew our girl Britney looked so fabulous!?

Britney’s first season as an X Factor judge kicks off September 12th of FOX.  Be sure to catch B$, Demi Lovato, LA Reid and Simon Cowell in all their judgmental glory!

Whether we wanted to see it or not, X Factor host Britney Spears has never been shy about showing off her body.  But the singer took her exhibitionism to a whole new level yesterday when she Tweeted the above photo and can we just say – WHOA MOMMA!  We didn’t know our girl Brit still looked that freaking good!

Looks like sharing a judges table with Demi Lovato has done a body good

Sorry to disappoint you, but it wasn’t because of an all-out diva brawl between X Factor newcomers Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.  Not yet anyway

Apparently, Lovato, Spears and L.A. Reid (judge Simon Cowell was out sick) walked off the set of The X Factor yesterday, when a would-be contestant refused to face them, while auditioning in Kansas City, MO.

According to sources, the judges felt the contestant, who apparently  couldn’t sing his way out of a paper bag, wasn’t giving them the respect they deserved and refused to waste their time listening to him sing.

We can only hope this is only the beginning of 2012 The X Factor shenanigans!

After months of speculation, FOX officially announced that pop stars Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will be joining L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell, as the newest hosts of The X Factor.

Doesn’t it just feel so good to finally have some closure!?

Show creator and judge, Simon Cowell (who’s usually such a grouch…but love him for it!) says that he is thrilled that Demi and Britney are joining the show and that they will be welcomed additions to the judges table.

I’m absolutely delighted that Britney and Demi are joining us… Britney Spears remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she’s talented, fascinating – and I believe she knows exactly how to spot The X Factor…. Demi’s had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She’s young, confident, and enthusiastic… It’s important that she speaks to our younger audience. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes to the show.

The newly married Spears also spoke out about her excitement over teaming up with Cowell and the entire cast of The X Factor,

I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out!

Watch out?  Watch out for what exactly Britney?  Please don’t tell us you think you’re going to go head-to-head with Simon in a battle of wits.  We just don’t think we have the stomach for that…

Sources report that 30-year-old pop star Britney Spears will be joining the cast of the FOX hit, The X Factor, as a judge next season! Producers are also currently courting Janet Jackson and Fergie with hopes of adding at least one of them to the judges table as well.

We certainly hope the recently engaged songstress fares better than Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones, who were all canned after just one season on the show – but with a boss like Simon Cowell there’s no such thing as “job security”!

For 55 very brief hours back in 2004, princess of pop Britney Spears was married to childhood pal Jason Alexander after the two wed on a whim in – you guessed it – Las Vegas.

Now our little Brit Brit is all grown up and on to husband #3 – and although their love affair lasted only a few fleeting hours, Alexander is none too pleased about his ex moving on with her now-fiance, Jason Tarwick.  In an interview with Us Magazine, Alexander spewed venom regarding his ex’s upcoming nuptials.

I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not… I think it’s fake and I think people are afraid to say it.

If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection… They look like they are going through the motions.  It seems like a answer to the court thing.

Sort of a nice way to sew it all up she marries her handler,” Alexander sniped. “That way she always has someone controlling her. It’s sort of sad.

Wow, bitter much?  Does this guy realize that his marriage to Britney lasted even less time than Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries?  Even by Hollywood standards, that’s barely long enough to count.

Time for this guy to build himself a bridge and GET OVER IT!

Pop superstar Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick may have something extra to celebrate this holiday season, as sources are reporting that the pair got engaged in Las Vegas last night!

And by sources, I mean Britney Spears herself, who Tweeted,

OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo

But seriously, other sources have been flapping their gums regarding all the legal hoops Jason has had to jump through in order to put a ring on his bride-to-be.  Because Brit’s father is still acting as her conservator, Jason had to first get his permission (pretty normal, right?) and then take his request before a judge (sooooo not normal).

While it may not be the traditional proposal every little girl dreams about, we’re still super excited for Britney to put down some roots and settle down with a good man.

Pop icon Britney Spears celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday (wow, I feel old) by lacing up a pair of skates and hitting the ice with boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Spears, who is taking a short break from her South American tour, look overjoyed at being able to have some personal time with her man and was grinning from ear to ear as she glided around the rink.

The lovebirds, who began working together over five years ago, seem to be more N*SYNC (sorry, couldn’t help it) than ever and our girl Brit appears to have found herself her dream man.  In an interview with US Magazine, the singer gushed,

Jason is just amazing with [Jayden and Sean Preston] … They look up to him so much — they adore him. He’s their hero.

Awww!  Love it  Happy Birthday Brit!
