Nina Dobrev can breathe a sigh of relief. Starring in The Vampire Diaries on the CW network, the actress will never have to do a nude scene unlike the stars of True Blood, HBO‘s vampire series. Said Dobrev:

“I’m very content with not being nude on national television. I enjoy True Blood myself and I watch the show, but I’m happy that bra and underwear is as stripped down as I can get for the show.”

The former Degrassi star also dismissed the bitter rivalry rumors between hot vampire casts:

“I don’t think that we’re necessarily competitors,” she explained. “We’re all kind of in the same genre – there are vampires within all the series – but they are all very different. It’s like apples and oranges. True Blood is racier and a little bit older, Twilight is on the big screen, whereas we are in that in-between zone. We’re all very supportive of each other.”

Dobrev has spent the week in Monaco with costars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley at the Monte Carlo TV Festival. She is one lucky gal. Check out more pics of her and her costars below.

Joining Kristen Bell and Brittany Snow, The Jonas Brothers are the latest celebs to hop on board and promote TOMS One Day Without Shoes cause on April 8th.

Through everyday encounters with domestic poverty, we are reminded to appreciate having food and shelter, but most of us all but forget about our feet. Food, shelter, AND shoes facilitate life’s fundamentals. Imagine a life without shoes; constantly aware of the ground in front of you, suffering regular cuts and scrapes, tending to infection after each walk, and enduring not only terrain, but heat and cold.
The problem is large, but the solution is simple. Wearing shoes and practicing basic hygiene can prevent both infection and disease due to unsafe roads and contaminated soil. By imagining a life barefoot, we can all contribute to the awareness of these conditions. On April 8th, communities, campuses, organizations, and individuals are banding together to walk barefoot for One Day Without Shoes.

The Jonas Brothers are committed Christians who spent their Easter Sunday as part of pastor Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church worship services in California. The nearly 30,000 faithful attended the 2 hour service at Angel Stadium and at the end of the afternoon, Nick, Joe and Kevin took to the stage to perform three songs: ‘Hold On,’ ‘A Little Bit Longer’ and ‘Gotta Find You.’

While waiting for The Vampire Diaries to return with new episodes (March 25th), producer Julie Plec is serving up a slice of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) & Elena (Nina Dobrev) heaven for fans who are Team Damon – from EW’s Ask Ausiello:

Question: I am dying here without Vampire Diaries! Please give us some scoop on the Damon-Elena relationship because I am loving it! —Ash
Ausiello: Then prepare to love this season’s final strong of episodes, which exec producer Julie Plec tells me will be heavily focused on the pair. “We’ll see Damon start to look at Elena as more than just his brother’s girlfriend or the doppelganger to the love of his life,” she reveals. “He’ll start to love and understand her as a human being, which is ironic because Damon could typically give a s–t about anything involving humanity. It’s some good stuff.”

From CNN’s Health Minute – a very short interview with Nick Jonas about his struggle with diabetes. As most of his fans know, the seventeen year old Jonas Brother was diagnosed four years ago and has since gone on to speak on Capitol Hill for funding and awareness. He has also become a paid spokesperson for Bayer products and you’ve probably seen his commercials for their insulin meter. Jonas has learned to balance his condition but mentions that sometimes his brothers have had to cover for him onstage. Check out the (too short) video above.

The Jonas Brothers got a special treat before their show yesterday – a set of jerseys from the Philadelphia 76ers. Each of the boys got a basketball shirt with their birth date and name on it. The guys seemed very happy to have them as gifts.
