Abigail Breslin In ‘Rango’ With Johnny Depp
Written by Violet on December 21, 2010 – 10:48 pm -Abigail Breslin gets to work with Johnny Depp in the upcoming animated movie Rango. (Ok, so most voice work is done in a studio apart from the other actors so she won’t get to actually be in the same room with him – but still!)
Breslin is one of the townspeople that Depp’s chameleon (Rango) ends up trying to protect. The movie opens March 18, 2011.

Drake Bell Heads Back To Nick In ‘The Fairly Oddparents’ Movie
Written by Violet on July 28, 2010 – 10:06 pm -Call it The Fairly OddDrake…
Drake Bell will be back on Nickelodeon in 2011 as the pink hat loving 5th grade scamp in the live action movie A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner! Bell, who is 24 years old, takes on the role of Timmy as a twenty something guy who refuses to grow up so he won’t lose his fairy godparents, Wanda (Cheryl Hines) and Cosmo (Jason Alexander.) Butch Hartman, creator of the super popular animated series says:
“I think fans of the series will love seeing the characters in this new way. Our mix of live-action and special effects animation will make them look ‘hyper-real’ and our goal is to make this movie as visually exciting as it will be funny.”
Daniella Monet of Victorious! will play Tootie, the girl Timmy might just decide to grow up for and leave his childhood behind.
The TV movie will debut sometime in 2011. It would be nice to see Drake back on TV.
