Gossip Girl actor, Chace Crawford, who was recently busted for pot, revealed he believes he was “overprescribed” for ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) as a child. The 25 year-old still thinks he was misdiagnosed and took a lot of meds that were not necessary.

He tells Britain’s Evening Standard, “I don’t know, but I don’t think I am ADD. Now I’m much more interested in knowledge and learning. I watch a lot of documentaries and news, I have a hunger for that. As a kid, I was more interested in daydreaming and friends.”

He additionally gushes, “They used to really overprescribe that stuff. (But) maybe it was good I took a little bit of medication, y’know? To help facilitate my schoolwork.”

This is one surprising revelation! I, for one, did not expect Chace to reveal such intimate details of his childhood. We hope the actor is not trying to use this as an excuse for his recent behavior.

Actor Chace Crawford revealed that he gave Taylor Swift one warm and tight hug just one day after the whole Kanye West meltdown incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs at a Kings of Leon concert.

“I’m so proud of you,” he told Swift, 19. “Don’t let anyone ever take your spotlight ever again.”
Swift thanked Crawford, 24, who, the source says, is “like an older brother type and is very protective over her” (although Swift once told Your Prom magazine Crawford was her “celeb dream date” for prom).

So Taylor has a crush on Chace and Chace as a crush on Taylor but Chace was recently seen smooching Twilight star Ashley Greene (photos here). Does it sound like an episode of Gossip Girl yet?
