According to reports, Magic Mike star Channing Tatum will reportedly be named People Magazine’s ’Sexiest Man Alive’ for 2012.

Alright People, we can get behind that, but to be fair, we diiiiiid kinda call this one way back when Channing danced into our hearts during his breakout role in Step Up.

Although the official announcement won’t be made until tomorrow, the 32-year-old should certainly start getting his acceptance speech ready now.  The Alabama-born hottie is about to join the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds and last year’s ‘Sexiest Man’ Bradley Cooper, who told interviewers that he’s “gonna cry” when his title is taken away.

According to sources, costars Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer, “…had massive fights on set.” while filming their latest project, Magic Mike.

Wait… Isn’t there some sort of saying about guys who strip together, staying friends forever?  Well if there isn’t, there should be.

A source close to Tatum revealed that,

He hates Alex… Channing thought Alex was a diva on set.

Another insider shared that Perryfer’s onset antics were definitely to blame for the actors’ feud,

Alex was a jerk to everyone during filming for no reason. He thinks he’s the star of the movie, not Channing or Matthew McConaughey.

Hey Alex?  Here’s a piece of advice.  Never try to upstage McConaughey a.k.a. the most likable guy in show business. It’s not good for your career.

Magic Mike star Olivia Munn stopped by the set of Bethenny Frankel’s new talk show to gush about her latest film project and show a little skin while busting a move on a stripper pole.

Wait… what?

That’s right ladies and gents, the former Real Housewives of New York star challenged her 32-year-old guest to a pole-dancing competition!  We’re not exactly sure whose moves were technically better, but let’s just say both ladies know how to work the pole!

But stripper role-playing wasn’t the only subject of conversation during Munn’s stint on Bethenny; the actress also opened up about her racy scenes with Magic Mike costar Channing Tatum.  When asked how she felt about her sex scenes with Channing, Olivia slyly answered,

I would say good to quite good. We kind of like became kids. We had this shower scene that you don’t get to see… We have like, you know, we have our little parts covered…ish. And we get up and we’re just kind of joking and improv-ing and we just go ‘Cheers’ [and bumped their "areas" together], just to make it more fun!

Hunky heartthrob Channing Tatum stopped by The Today Show with Kathy Lee and Hoda yesterday to chat up his new movie Magic Mike and reveal some juicy details about his stripping past.

I was 18 or 19 in Tampa, I dropped out of college, which I don’t suggest to anyone out there. But I was working three jobs, this was just one of them, and I was couching it… Cause at that time you don’t want to be living with your parents at 18 years old. You kind of just want to be out on your own.

Man, Channing you must’ve really wanted O-U-T of your parents house preeeeetty bad!

So, what does Channing’s wife and Step Up costar Jenna Dewan Tatum think of him reliving his racy past along with fellow castmates Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Alex Pettyfer?

She thinks it’s hilarious… Obviously, I mean look, she married a stripper, she knew what she was getting into. But I mean she’s watched [Magic Mike] and she loves it. She came to set and everything it was a fun time.

The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, is an upcoming drama/romance directed by Michael Sucsy. After a car accident puts Paige (McAdams) in a coma, her husband, Leo (Tatum), struggles to win her heart again after the severe memory loss from the coma leaves her searching for clues from a past life.

Michael Angarano is in negotiations to join the Steven Soderbergh thriller Knockout. Along with Channing Tatum, (also a possible addition to the cast) the film will center on mixed martial arts star Gina Carano as the spy who ends up betrayed. Angarano will be the teenager who helps Carano and ends up partnered with her.
