It looks like Rachel MacAdams may have another The Notebook-sized blockbuster on her hands!

The Vow, starring MacAdams and the always-delicious Channing Tatum, topped box offices this weekend, beating out the 3-D edition of Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace, Denzel Washington’s Safe House and Vanessa Hudgens’ Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, is an upcoming drama/romance directed by Michael Sucsy. After a car accident puts Paige (McAdams) in a coma, her husband, Leo (Tatum), struggles to win her heart again after the severe memory loss from the coma leaves her searching for clues from a past life.

What do you think of the on-screen duo of Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum? Rachel recently starred in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Midnight in Paris. Channing is also in the anticipated 2012 remake of 21 Jump Street.

Michael Angarano is in negotiations to join the Steven Soderbergh thriller Knockout. Along with Channing Tatum, (also a possible addition to the cast) the film will center on mixed martial arts star Gina Carano as the spy who ends up betrayed. Angarano will be the teenager who helps Carano and ends up partnered with her.
