After Glee’s Cory Monteith publicly announced that he checked himself into a rehab facility on April 1st, costars rallied around the 30-year-old star and applauded his efforts to get sober.

Mark Salling, who plays Puck on the hit FOX series said the decision took some serious… um, cojones.

It takes balls . . . to go through that publicly. Period. It takes balls to go through that privately, but to go through it publicly like that — balls.

Salling also revealed that other costars are showing their support for Cory by texting and tweeting encouragement to their costar. This marks the second time that Monteith has entered a rehab facility for a “serious problem” with drugs and alcohol.

Cory’s longtime GF Lea Michele issued a public statement supporting her boo,

I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.

So are we Lea, so are we.

Glee sweethearts Cory Monteith and Lea Michele spent the holidays together frolicking on the beaches of Hawaii and looking downright H-O-T for each other as they spent some serious time canoodling in the sand and surf!

We’re sure it doesn’t hurt that Ms. Lea is looking so UBER-fit these days!

According to reports, the couple was allegedly on the rocks after Cory put a $2,000 spending cap on their Christmas gift exchange. A source close to the pair revealed that,

[Lea was] pouty at first. [But Cory explained] the only gifts that he’d ever saved were the ones that had thoughts behind them.

But the Glee hottie must have found somethin’ real nice (and cheap?) for his GF, because the pair looked happier than ever on their Hawaiian vacay.

Lea even took to her Twitter account to share her excitement and joy over ringing in 2013 with her main squeeze.

Well, for the first four episodes anyway…

Sorry to give all you Gleeks out there heart palpitations, but Cory Monteith being absent for even four episodes was enough to make us freak out too!

According to costar and makeout buddy Lea Michele, Cory’s departure from the show is rough, but the plot lines will be well worth the wait.

I can say that Cory is fully on the show this year… and what he will be doing this year is very exciting. His storyline is so cool and so different. You couldn’t even ever guess. Honestly! It’s like, amazing. So that’s something the fans can really look forward to. And people saw the pictures of us filming together inNew York City together, so they won’t have to wait too long. When [Finn] comes back, he’s really back and it is great.

Easy for her to say!  She gets to see Cory on a regular basis.  The rest of us have been suffering without him all summer and now you tell us we have to wait another four weeks?  It’s almost too much to bear!

Speaking of bearing some difficult circumstances, at the start of season 4, we learn that Finn has spent some time, albeit a fairly short amount of time, serving in the army.  And according to Lea – he did it mostly for the chic haircut!

Cory did get an ‘Army’ haircut… But I think that was Cory just wanting to cut his hair! They said, ‘Well you’ve been out of the Army for a little while.’ And he was like. ‘I think it should be short on the sides.’ He wanted to mix it up.

Season 4 of Glee premieres on FOX Thursday, September 13th at 9pm EST!  Don’t miss it!

With the end of Glee’s extended hiatus finally on the horizon, it only seems fitting to give you an update on costars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith’s super adorable relationship!

According to a source, Lea has met Cory’s entire family and they are all wild about the 25-year-old actress.

His whole family loves her… They like that she makes him a priority and makes the effort to visit.

But seriously, are we surprised?  What’s not to love?  She’s gorgeous, talented and willing to travel all the way to the “Great White North”, also known as Canada, to make nice with her sweetheart’s parentals!

The same source added that Cory’s laid back personality has begun to rub off on the type-A songstress,

He’s very chill, and he’s rubbed off on her… They’re very happy.

So we have to ask… will there be wedding bells in the near future for these two?  If so, we will all surely squeal with glee!

Believe it or not – Glee is planning yet another “tribute” episode – this time, honoring the late, great Whitney Houston.

The cast will perform eight songs from the songstress, who passed away early last month, with powerhouse vocalist Amber Riley leading the way.  Riley performed a moving rendition of Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”, just days after the singer’s death and insiders report that this episode is a continuation of the cast’s wishes to pay their respects to an amazing artist.

It’s using Whitney’s music as a way to say goodbye… A way to respectfully say thank you for her music.

Series star Lea Michele took to her Twitter this morning to update fans about filming,

@MSLEAMICHELE: Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the worlds most amazing singers. Very excited about this one.

They say life imitates art – or is it the other way around…

Glee superstars Lea Michaele and Cory Monteith have finally admitted that they’re “head over heels” for each other – it’s about time!  Geez, we’ve all known it for months!

According to a source,

Lea is head over heels for Cory… Lea says it’s because she and Cory started off as good friends and then their relationship just blossomed.

Just like Rachel and Finn!  Sort of…

Apparently the pair has found a level of comfort with each other after working together on set for several seasons and are finding the transition from friends to more-than-friends to be smoother than Mr. Schuster’s voice.

Lea and Cory have an amazing friendship… They are basically best friends. Lea feels she can be silly and totally herself in front of Cory. They also have a lot in common. Lea says what she adores most about Cory is that he is always making her laugh and reminding her not too sweat the small stuff. Plus, he’s gorgeous!

That never hurts!

While his character on the hit FOX show Glee certainly has a way with the ladies, actor Cory Monteith says he’s just too shy ’round the ladyfolk to nail down a serious girlfriend.

Apparently the loveably affable Monteith’s goofy sense of humor and quite ways don’t translate well to the L.A. dating scene.  According to Finn, er – Cory,

I’m reserved and quite shy when it comes to girls… I take myself pretty seriously. I am pretty goofy and make a lot of dumb jokes and that is kinda how I communicate a lot of the time.

Sounds perfectly delightful to me – and the guy and sing!  What more could a girl want?

Besides being a talented actor, Monteith is doing his part to set a good example of how to enjoy the spotlight, without getting into trouble.

I’m having a really good time. I don’t drink so I save myself a lot of pain that way… I don’t understand how people make those kind of mistakes. It’s so easily avoided.

Country sensation Taylor Swift and Glee star Cory Monteith were spotted getting cozy at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party and they also had had dinner at Jerry’s Deli a couple of days before. Could it mean the two are getting to know each other and may actually develop something more than just pure friendship? We hope so! They look super cute together too.

The talented 20 year-old took home FOUR trophies including “Album Of The Year” at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 31). 2010 will be another fantastic year for Tay!
