Justin just won a country music award! SERIOUSLY! JBieber is everywhere. He can do anything. Be whoever he wants to be. For the past month, the 17 year-old and his girlfriend Selena Gomez, have been seen in some heavy PDA scenes, but they decided to cool it off in official public appearances.

Selena and Justin were not seen together at the 2011 MTV Movie Award earlier this week, and the “Baby” singer took mom, Pattie Mallette, as his date to the CMT Awards. The couple probably doesn’t want to anger JBieber’s crazy fans, who have been threatening Selena.

Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift bursts onto the cover of InStyle magazine’s June issue in a citrus colored shift dress from Victoria Beckham‘s fashion line.

The Speak Now superstar is known for dating a few high profile celebrities (Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal for example) and writing about her love life (for better or worse) in song and no matter how bittersweet the ending is, the singer isn’t soured on love.

“There are no rules when it comes to love,” Swift told the magazine. “I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you’re going to fall in love with.”

For Taylor it’s about being open to the possibilities.

“You never know who’s going to come into your life—and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don’t think about what their career is, or what they look like,” she says. “I picture the feeling I get when I’m with them.”

“I have this really high priority on happiness and finding something to be happy about,” she concludes.

The 21 year-old singer was accompanied by a band while she played the banjo and asked people to clap their hands to the sound of her music. Taylor was incredible. There’s absolutely no doubt she is an incredible live performer. Taylor won the 2011 Entertainer of The Year award.

ACM Awards host, Blake Shelton, cracked a joke about Taylor’s personal life and her latest ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. He said the guy was gay because he dumped our Taylor… well… no comment!

Blake said, “Don’t make jokes about Taylor Swift. If you make her mad, she’ll write a song about you. She writes songs about guys who break up with her.”

He added, “Which I don’t understand in the first place. She’s beautiful, she’s talented, she’s sweet. What in the world was Jake Gyllenhaal thinking anyway? Wait a minute, he was in ‘Brokeback Mountain.”

Singer/songwriter Taylor Swift received the big award for Entertainer Of The Year at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (April 3)- more pictures below.

The 21 year-old wore a stunning Elie Sabb Haute Couture gown with a long tail. The only thing I can say is that color is definitely not flattering for Taylor’s complexion. But other than that, the dress is beautiful.

Ryan Seacrest had the honor of closing the awards ceremony by presenting the Entertainer of The Year award to our girl Taylor, who emotionally thanked the fans all over the world for her incredible success.

Taylor said, “This is the first time I’ve ever won this, and I’m losing my mind. The fact that this was from the fans is so beautiful. We just got back from a tour of Asia, so thanks for not forgetting about me. The fact that this is from the fans… you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon are making a pit stop in Las Vegas on April 3rd.

The Water For Elephants costars are lined up as presenters at the Country Music Awards, just a few weeks before their movie debuts.

The Academy of Country Music confirms the addition of the two stars for the ceremony and the duo will be joined by Ryan Seacrest and Nancy O’Dell with performances by Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and more.

Taylor Swift gave a heartfelt performance of her apology song “Back to December” last night, November 10th, at the 44th Annual Country Music Awards. Held in Nashville, Tennessee the CMA audience saw Taylor at a grand piano accompanied only by a string section – no big guitars or huge chorus being belted out – this rendition was stripped down and restrained but still lovely. The tune is rumored to be a mea culpa to Swift’s former boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, neither of whom have confirmed or denied the story.

The stage had fog, a wrought iron fence and old-fashioned Victorian lamp posts as Swift was set in the middle on her piano. For the finale of the song, Swift had snow softly falling from the stage sky. The somber effect was ruined a bit at the end as you see the cameras sweep around the auditorium and back to Swift, who is mouthing “What?” at the curtains come down. Her rep tells EW that the singer was surprised by the standing ovation. Hmm, that doesn’t quiet seem to fit the face she made.

Taylor Swift is making history this month. The 20 year-old music superstar broke three Billboard records last week by having 11 of her songs on the chart at once, the most songs written by one artist charting in the same week and all those songs are off one album.

On Tuesday November 9th, Swift, who has had some intense ups and downs this week, holds yet another title: BMI’s Country Songwriter of the Year - the youngest person ever awarded that honor.

Swift became the youngest recipient of the prize, telling the crowd, “It’s been a really emotional week for me.” And while this week has been filled with highs, it has also had its share of lows as she attended the funeral of a friend on Monday. She added, “He was 21, and I used to play my songs for him first.”

Congratulations on the record-winning weeks, Taylor. It’s unfortunate it was at the same time she was dealing with losing someone so close to her.

Tonight she will perform at the CMA’s (Country Music Awards) and perhaps pick up another trophy as she is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. It is rumored she will sing “Back To December,” the emotionaly song reportedly written about Taylor Lautner.

The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee will celebrate it’s 85th birthday in October and Taylor Swift is among the country music stars set to perform at the legendary music hall. Swift will join Trace Adkins, Dolly Parton and Crystal Gayle for the two day (October 8th and 9th) event. Swift is sure to be performing new songs from Speak Now, her album that will be released on October 25th. Go here if you want tickets.

The Opry is set to be re-opened on September 28th after the flooding from the Cumberland River in May of 2010 left the building damaged and unsafe.

We hope Taylor can continue to grow and conquer the world. She deserves it more than anyone else in the business. She is dedicated and we can feel that in everything she does. Taylor recently donated more than $250,000 to schools around the country to celebrate her 20th birthday!

Being a top musical act isn’t enough for teen Taylor Swift. Branching out as an author, the country music star is reportedly getting ready to write a cookbook featuring her family’s traditional recipies.

“I’m writing a cookery book with all of my family’s recipes!” Taylor is quoted as telling Sugar magazine. “My mum’s teaching me her brisket later on today. I’m going to throw a dinner party for all my friends and teach them too!”

Earlier this year, the singer/songwriter already stepped out of music and into fashion with L.E.I. sportswear sundresses sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.

Sugar Magazine is a top selling British teen mag and while the quote may (or may not) be accurate, the phrasing was most like changed (cookery and mum are not used in the US by teens very often.)
