Filming in Vancouver at the same time, Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner were photographed everywhere together but now that their movies are done, it seems the supposed twosome have moved on from each other with Gomez confirming she is solo.

“I’m single,” she went on. “Definitely single.”

Last week, a source close to the 16-year-old told Usmagazine.com the pair — who had been spotted getting cozy in Vancouver — called it quits because “they are just really busy.”

With Lautner’s character (the shapeshifter/werewolf Jacob Black,) taking on a central role in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon, his status as a single guy (again!) is only going to drive the girls even more insane.

Gomez just finished her part in the Ramona movie and the Wizards of Waverly Place star is sporting a new shorter hair cut all around town (and she looks great too!)

An afternoon off for the super busy Miley Cyrus must be pretty rare right now with Hannah Montana promotions in full swing, but she did find time to have lunch with her ex Nick Jonas. The two stopped for a bite to eat at The Village Idiot in Los Angeles and their friendship seems strong. He appeared really relaxed considering he bumped another car – no harm done to anything or anyone. She looked super cute as usual.

The set of Gossip Girl is a great place to hook up unless your Taylor Momsen. The actress told OK Magazine that she is not dating her co-star Chace Crawford.

“No,” she says when OK! asked recently during NYC Fashion Week if she’s dating Chace. “It’s great, because going to set we’re all such good friends. And you know, rumors are rumors.”

Momsen is going to concentrate on her music with her band The Reckless and release an album later this year. I really enjoy watching Taylor and can’t wait to hear her music.

Meanwhile, Chace will have to look elsewhere (Leighton Meester maybe?) if he wants to continue the GG hook-up streak created by couples Blake Lively and Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr.

Cutest couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens made the movie premiere of ‘Watchmen’ in Hollywood at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. They walked the red carpet together after being hit with conflicting rumors – that newly single Megan Fox is hot on Zac’s trail, and that they are engaged after Efron proposed to Hudgens in Toyko recently. Whatever the case, they appeared happy and certainly looked cute together for their movie date.

Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle spent some quality time together in New York City this weekend while the Jonas Brothers are in town doing some serious promotional work. The duo tried to stay low profile, but when you are a JoBro, that’s near impossible.

Pop diva Rihanna and her (we hope) ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have been the center of a media storm these past two days. Brown has turned himself in to LAPD after allegedly beating, biting and punching Rihanna so badly a passerby heard her screams and called 911. Brown and Rihanna were due at the Grammy Awards Sunday evening, but cancelled as news of Brown’s impending arrest broke world wide.

Brown is being charged with making criminal threats, which carries a possible 9 year jail sentance. The District Attorney may also opt to add domestic abuse charges which can lead to another 4 years if convicted. 

What went so wrong with this couple? They were very low key about their relationship. Brown and Rihanna are still teenagers! If this is true, Brown has ruined his reputation and career. Has it happened to Rihanna before? Was this the first time abuse was reported?  The description of her injuries are severe and would suggest escalation, instead of something spontaneous.

Nothing could possibly justify what happened to Rihanna and while it must be incredibly painful for it to happen so publicly, hopefully one day she can talk about and help others who suffer from abusive relationships. Under the radar couple Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are spending some quality boyfriend/girlfriend time in the tropical island paradise of Bora Bora. The two strolled along the beach hand in hand while on vacation.

The television super ‘Heroes’ keep a low profile and seem like one of the happiest couples because of it.

Disney’s High School Musical star Zac Efron is happy happy happy about being in love with his co-star, Vanessa Hudgens. The actor is opening up to everyone about how he believes Hudgens has made him a better person.

He said: “You can’t describe the feeling of being in love – when you meet someone who makes you a better person.”

The twosome was recently voted The Cutest Couple of 2008.

Having two guys hot for you, well, that’s great! Having those two guys be Joe Jonas and Robert Pattinson? Even better! Camilla Belle is one lucky girl. Pattinson was out promoting ‘Twilight‘ in Europe while continuing to cast a spell over Belle, calling her to let her know he was thinking about her. Is it a love triangle? Are Camillla and Joe still dating?
