Victoria Justice has a lot to smile about. Her new show, Victorious! is set to debut on Nickelodeon, March 27th, following The Kids Choice Awards. She recently turned 17 and passed her drivers test and is the March cover girl for Lá Teen. She is also the latest teen actress to cover Inspire Magazine. From the interview:

What do you hope to achieve this year and the coming years?

I just achieved one of my goals for this year and that was to get my driver’s permit. I just passed the day before my birthday, so that was very cool. I’m also looking forward to passing my driving test in six months and getting a regular license.

Professional goals would be to really start working on my music, (writing more), when the show wraps in April. As for the coming years, I always want to keep working on the craft to be the best actor that I can be. The same goes for music. I just want to keep learning and trying new things. I just would like to keep working on projects that I’d be proud of.

Solo on the cover of Teen Vogue’s April 2010 issue, Miley Cyrus grabs the coveted spot again for the magazine. Inside, Miley and her The Last Song costar (and boyfriend) Liam Hemsworth have a lovely Paris photo shoot together. The ever-humble Miley:

On her chemistry with Liam: “I think we’re both deeper than normal people-what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”

Nina Dobrev has autographed a pair of jeans from Aeropostale for the annual winter Teens for Jeans campaign. DoSomething.org organinzes the drive to help homeless teens in the US, Canada and Haiti. The Vampire Diaries star put her stamp on a pair of denim along with Adam Lambert, Kellan Lutz and JoJo. Check out the promo that Ashley Greene and Justin Long did earlier this year here.

With dueling covers for April, Elle Magazine has the ever popular Taylor Swift in two separate but equally beautiful shots. The superstar has a sparkly super feminine look on one and a little more edge and leather in her second cover.

What does she think of the media scrutiny surrounding her every move? Says Swift:

“I’ve had countless opportunities to do some really bad things,” confesses Swift. “And then people start combing through everything I do trying to find the next mistake and misperception, which leads to more scrutiny …. So it’s not only about your own moral compass, but the moral compasses of other people that you don’t know.”

One of her biggest fears: “Me making a bunch of bad decisions and embarking on a painful, slow, devastating tailspin.”

The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev is springtime pretty on the cover of Seventeen magazine for April 2010. The actress opened up about her costars to the mag:

“We had a couple six-year-olds who came to a signing and actually thought that Ian Somerhalder [who plays Damon] was a vampire, and they were terrified of him. We had this one little girl go up to him, and she was really shy, and her mom was like, ‘She has something to tell you.’ And Ian leaned over and was like, ‘What is it, sweetheart?’, and the little girl says, ‘Try to be a good boy.’ And he was like, ‘Okay, sweetie…for you I’ll try.’”

“The first time Paul [Wesley] and I met, I met nine other guys as well because I had already been cast and they were deciding for the Stefan role. I had to read with like 30 studio executives, and they were just kind of watching and analyzing because that was the whole point of the test…they wanted to see who had the best chemistry. And everyone was great, but Paul had this old soul, like a history that you could feel…he seemed like he’d been around longer, and knew more, and he had a grasp for the character different from anyone else.”

Ugh! Poor Taylor Swift was put on the cover of Russian fashion magazine Oops! and it’s just another unfortunate example of how photoshop can go so wrong so fast. It’s got a Heidi Montag way-to-much-plastic-surgery look to it. What do you think?

Victoria Justice celebrates her 17th birthday today: February 19th. The Nickelodeon actress, who is filming her brand new tv show, Victorious, took to her twitter to announce how happy she was:

“Today’s officially my birthday!!!! I’m shocked that people are remembering haha. I have the best friends,family, and fans in the world”

She has a lot to celebrate - she passed her driver’s test on the 18th and she is the cover girl for the winter 2010 issue of SIX7*8th magazine.

Congrats and Happy B-day! Looking forward to her show’s premiere in March.

Beautiful Australian actress Mia Wasikowska has been chosen as Teen Vogue’s March cover model. The star of Tim Burton’s upcoming 3-D movie Alice in Wonderland is striking with her newly cropped pixie hair and porcelain skin. Wasikowska (pronounced Va-shee-kov-ska) tells Teen Vogue:

On Alice in Wonderland’s updated version:

“I really think it will be exciting, especially for girls my age because it explores that period of your life when you have these expectations upon you and you’re finding that, amongst that, you have to try and hold on to yourself.”

On her A-list co-stars:

“Working with Johnny Depp was great—I was a little starstruck.”

Mia is part of an incredible cast of actors that Burton has assembled: Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman and Anne Hathaway will all bring this modern version of the classic tale to theaters March 5th.

Wasikowska’s cover is due out February 9th.

The Vampire Diaries is heating up after it’s long winter nap and just in time for the new episodes, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder have scored the cover of Nylon Magazine for February. Here is an excerpt:

The show is hot hot hot and after this past week’s return with “Bloodlines” and all the reveals - the show is just getting better. Taylor Swift has grabbed the GL (Girl’s Life Magazine) cover spot for their February/March issue. The singer shares her philosophy on being single:

“I typically don’t ever have a boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. I see it as an opportunity to just hang out with my other single girlfriends,” she recently
told Girls Life magazine. “Being single is something that I have never looked at as being a curse. It’s that time for you to figure out what you like and how you like to spend time by yourself. That’s a gift.”

The singer, who has remained friend with her ex Taylor Lautner, will share the big screen with him (and lots of other Hollywood superstars) in the film Valentine’s Day, opening February 12th.
