MTV’s hot new series “Teen Wolf” premieres on Sunday (June 5), right after the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. Despite initially rumors the show would be a Michael J.Fox’s “Teen Wolf” remake, the only thing they really have in common is the title and the fact the boy turns into a werewolf.

And no “Teen Wolf” is nothing like Twilight. I’d dare to say it is the best show on MTV for years. It’s fun, exciting, dark, dangerous and full of those annoying teenage hormones. Boy loves a girl, boy turns into werewolf, and the girl’s father is a werewolf hunter. OH. THE DRAMA!

MTV just released a three-minute long extended trailer of their upcoming series “Teen Wolf” starring Tyler Posey as Scott McCall and Crystal Reed as Allison Argent (see video below). Awesome!

“Teen Wolf” is like a werewolf version of Twilight. Scott is the new werewolf and he falls in love with the beautiful girl, Allison, whose father is a werewolf hunter. Dramatic, dark, mysterious and romantic. The action scenes also look pretty good for an MTV production.

The new “Teen Wolf” is a TV show remake of the classic movie with the same title starring the one and only Michael J. Fox back in the 1980’s. Tyler Posey will play Scott McCall, a lacrosse player who becomes a werewolf after being bitten by one during one night in the woods.

Scott is just a normal teenager, struggling with normal issues like popularity, self-image and girls, when his life completely changes. He has a major crush on a girl named Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), but will soon discover her father is part of an organization that hunts down and kills werewolves.

Will Tyler be a sexy teen wolf?? Is Taylor Lautner’s sexiest teen werewolf title in danger? We certainly do not think so. Check out the incredible MTV’s Teen Wolf trailer below.
