Poor Miley Cyrus. The ‘Party In The USA’ singer has had to cancel a stop on her Wonder World Show tour tonight in Omaha, Nebraska. She has come down with a nasty case of strep throat. She has given up lots of updates through her twitter page:

“My throat is yelling at me to shut up. Strep is the worst thing ever,” she wrote. “Thank you, Salt Lake, for being so amazing and supportive. My body is done with me working it so hard. Off to have a very nice peaceful sleep.”According to her tweets, dad Billy Ray and sister Noah have been keeping the singer’s spirits up until she gets better. “Nurse Noah is taking good care of me tonight. I just put on a Snuggie and ate a popsicle,” she wrote.

According to MTV.com her next show is Saturday night, October 3rd in Kansas City MO. Let’s hope she feels well enough by tomorrow to perform, but if she’s not up to it, it will be better for her stay in bed – although fans will be disappointed. Then she can reschedule and give it her all.

Miranda Cosgrove has been hard at work as a voice actress in the upcoming animated film, Despicable Me. Co-starring with Steve Carrell and Russell Brand, the teen is playing an orphan who finds Carrell and wants him to be her dad. Check out the trailer – it looks fun. The movie is not due out July 9, 2010 - that’s a long wait for more Miranda.
