Dakota Fanning is just one of the featured celebs in the September issue of Vogue magazine for Fashion’s Night Out, the NYC buying extravaganza taking place on September 10, 2010. The event takes place in the Big Apple and features designers, celebrities and stars promoting shopping (for the good of the economy, of course!) Fanning, who is pictured next to Hayden Christensen, talks about the energy and the vibe of New York in the behind-the-scenes video shoot below.

Dazed & Confused has actress Dakota Fanning covering it’s September issue. The Twilight teen is featured for a beautiful black and white photo spread by Mark Segal that highlight Fanning’s natural beauty.

Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Logan Lerman, Dakota Fanning, and Sofia Vassilieva, are all featured in the new PSA from SU2C – Stand Up To Cancer “Change The Odds.” The organization wants you to know what the odds are that you or someone you love will be affected by the devastating disease in your lifetime.

“It is important for young people to be aware of the scope of the problem and the odds that they may face, both for their own future and for their loved ones,” said [Laura] Ziskin, co-founder and executive producer of the Stand Up To Cancer telecast. “This piece is about how it is never too soon to take a stand against these devastating and epidemic diseases. Theirs may be the generation that gets us to the finish line. We are so grateful to all the young stars and to Marc Webb and Rich Lee for joining our cause so brilliantly.”

Kristen Bell, Zachary Levi, Andrew Garfield, Naya Rivera and William Moseley (and lots more) are also participating in the informative video.

A commercial free telethon will be broadcast on September 11th on Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, VH1, StyleNetwork, HBO, Discovery Health, G4 and many more channels. Using monies raised to get better treatments for cancer patients, research to fight the disease and to spread the word about what you can do now to help prevent getting it (stop smoking, use sunscreen.)

Dakota Fanning grabs the cover (one of two versions featuring her) for Marie Claire’s August edition. (This one has an 80′s Madonna-ish vibe to it.)

The Eclipse actress opened up about growing up on screen, the red eyes she dons for her character Jane in the Twilight movies and Kristen Stewart chimes in on how grown up she is.

On growing up and fan reaction to more mature roles: “When you start out young, people get really attached to who you are at 6 years old,” Fanning says. “I hope that The Runaways was kind of a moment to be like, ‘You know, I’m not that young little girl anymore, but I’m still not all grown up, either.’”

Red contacts covering her famous big blue eyes: “It’s something that’s always been there for me, that I have huge blue eyes — it’s been something that people have always talked about,” Fanning says. “But I enjoyed the red. You’re automatically transformed into a creature when you put those red eyes in.”

Kristen Stewart’s take on Dakota: “Dakota is so unfaultingly steady,” Stewart says. “In most cases, I feel like she’s older than me. It’s only when she starts talking about boys that I remember how young she is.”

Kristen Stewart is featured on the cover of UK’s Sunday magazine and the press weary actress is talking about taking a short break until Breaking Dawn begins filming in November.

“The past three years have been heavy,” she says. “I haven’t had any plans in a long time because I’ve been working a lot. I enjoy my downtime and I’m looking forward to it.”

She deserves her time and hopefully she heads back recharged and ready to roar.

The much anticipated third movie of The Twilight Saga, “Eclipse”, finally premiered during a star-studded night of the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (June 24). Our favorite stars were greeted by screaming fans, who waited in line for days to be able to watch them walk down the glamorous black carpet.

Anna Kendrick and Dakota Fanning are two beautiful and very talented girls. The human and the vampire both wore super cute mini-dresses, flattering their (youthful) figure. Anna in a golden Marchesa dress and Dakota in an Elie Saab Couture beige dress, which one looked the best on the black carpet last night? Our pick: Dakota!

This is the night! The biggest night of the year for the crazy Twi-hard fans! The stars of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse“, including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene, will walk the red carpet of this star-studded premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 24).

Five Twilight beauties – Nikki Reed, Elizabeth Reaser, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene – posed for a very glamorous photo shoot for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair Magazine (July 2010).

Here is what the girls had to say about the movie, co-stars and Twilight-mania:

Ashley Greene (Alice): “You don’t have to be psychic to know how this movie’s [Eclipse] going to do. Obviously, it’s going to be a hit.”

Nikki Reed (Rosalie Cullen): “Bella and Edward’s love is very taboo and forbidden and I think that kind of represents all youthful relationships, because that’s what all first loves feel like… It’s sort of borderline, like, insane.”

Elizabeth Reaser (Esme): “Oh, it gets so old, you have no idea. It has no effect on me. They’re all gorgeous and lovely boys… You just want someone interesting and weird at a certain point. I have a massive crush on Larry David.”

Bryce Dallas Howard (Victoria): “I had seen Twilight innumerable times. After I saw it for the fourth time, one of my best guy friends, for my birthday, made me Post-it notes with Robert Pattinson’s face that said, ‘Live Dangerously,’ because I was so obsessed. My husband actually said to me, ‘Do I need to be worried about this?’”
