Victoria Justice is pretty in a strapless peachy pink dress and awesome oversize floral cuff for the cover of the 2011 issue Seventeen Prom.

Justice, who’s never been to a prom, dishes to the mag about finding the right dress, don’t be desperate for a boy (amen, sister!) and what she thinks prom should be all about:

On finding the perfect party dress: “All of the outfits that I’ve worn have made me feel special in different ways, but fit is so much more important to me than wearing a designer brand. I’d rather find a really cheap dress and have it fit me.”

On what prom means to her: “I think prom is just about enjoying yourself. You shouldn’t have to worry about guys at all. It should just be about hanging out with your friends and having the best time you’ve ever had. And even if you don’t have the best time you’ve ever had, you’ll have plenty of good times in the future. I don’t think there has to be so much pressure put on this night. Just take it easy and have a positive attitude, and you’re going to have a great night either way.”

On finding a perfect prom date: “Guys don’t like girls that throw themselves at them. That’s something that I’ve learned. I feel like a lot of girls do things to get attention for a guy to notice them, but you don’t want to do the wrong things to get attention. A guy wants a classy girl who is smart and has goals — someone that he wouldn’t be afraid to bring home to his parents.”

I just love Victoria! She’s very smart and self-assured.

Happy Birthday to Miley Cyrus! The superstar turns 18 today and the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer is enjoying herself to the max. Miley has said she plans on having a very long celebration:

“I have a birthday month. I do the whole month of November. Thanksgiving, cake – [it’s] all about me on Thanksgiving!”

Cyrus has already started her parties. On Sunday November 21st, after her performance of “Forgiveness and Love” at the 2010 American Music Awards, (see photos here) she headed to Los Angeles hotspot Trousdale for some fun. Demi Moore, Rumer Willis, Kyle Massey, Kelly Osbourne and her mom Tish Cyrus all headed inside to dance and enjoy the evening.

Miley made waves that night with Nickelodeon star Avan Jogia. The two were photographed as the Disney teen leaned back and Avan kissed her neck. While the photo is steamy (check it out below) the two are reportedly still “getting to know each other,” and she is happily single playing the field.

She’s 18 and enjoying herself – good for her!

For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. Glee is on fire and the stars of the show are hot hot hot! TV Guide Magazine held it’s annual Hot List Party at Drai’s of the W Hotel in Hollywood, California on November 8th. Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz were on hand to celebrate the show’s success.

Demi Lovato’s hit Disney show Sonny With A Chance has a new episode this weekend. Here is a preview of ‘High School Miserable’ and episode description:

“When Sonny and the So Random gang start to take some of their privileges for granted, they get a lesson in the real world they never forget.”

The Jonas Brothers have been watching the youtube videos everyone has made dancing to their song ‘What Did I Do to Your Heart’ and they love them. They inspired the brothers to run a contest for the three vids they like the most. Here’s what you need to do: make a video and submit it to YouTube.com/JBHeartVideo for your shot at being on the brothers’ favorites page.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is currently filming in Ontario Canada and according to costar Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Disney is stepping it up a notch.

“People are going to be surprised by Camp Rock 2,” Anna tells [OK! Magazine.] “It’s gonna be a good movie You’ll see amazing songs by the Jonas Brothers, Demi has an amazing song. Just bigger and better dance numbers. It’s more intense this time. It’s more of a musical, so people will look forward to that.”

The pressure is on Disney after the first Camp Rock was such a suprise hit but with Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers and all the original cast returning for the sequel, this movie should be great.

Glee was back this week with “Acafellas” a good episode but a bit weaker than last week’s stellar season premiere.

Rachel (Lea Michele) provokes Will (Matthew Morrison) to take a backseat in the club’s musical direction and Quinn (Dianna Agron) and her fellow Cheerios get Rachel to hire Dakota Stanley, a famously tough choreographer who they hope will crush the Glee’s enthusiasm with his legendary meanness. (Stanley remarks to the wheelchair bound Artie (Kevin McHale) “you’re not trying hard enough to walk!”)

Will gets the idea to form a group with his fellow teachers and they name themselves the Acafellas. After two drop out, Finn (Cory Montieth) joins, along with his football rival Puck (Mark Salling) who has given up teenaged girls and is interested in cougars; and the Acafellas perform for the PTA meeting. Josh Grobin makes a guest appearance at the end

“I Wanna Sex You Up,” “Bust Your Windows,” “This Is How We Do It” and “Mercy” were performed this week but Coach Sue Sylvester played by Jane Lynch steals the show. Lynch’s deadpan delivery and atrociously manipulative behavior is simply sinfully delightful to watch.

I left out the sub plots in this recap because well, they made the show falter in it’s pace. The Mercedes/Kurt romance was silly and the Sandy/Josh Grobin appearance was distracting, although Grobin was funny when he told Will’s mother he “loves a blousy alcoholic.”

Episode 3 was enjoyable and had lots of laughs, not the same level as last week’s “Showmance” but still a solid hour of television. Bring on Episode 4: Preggers!

Ok, let’s have a bit of a television moment here. ABC’s Dancing With The Stars is coming back in September with it’s largest cast ever and I thought we’d have a little fun here on GossipTeen: Which favorite teen stars would I chose if I could cast this show? Who would be the most interesting to watch weekly? Before I reveal the “sweet 16″ I selected, I eliminated Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Taylor Swift and Dakota Fanning. They were all easy choices and while everyone would want them, there is no way they would do it. Even though it’s fantasy, I wanted it to have some basis in how the contestants are really chosen for the show. It would be like asking George Clooney or Angelina Jolie to do the regular version: it would make for great television but it’s never gonna happen.

So let’s lay a bit of groundwork; some rules, so to speak:

First: Everyone is under 25, that should be obvious.

Second: I selected an equal mix of guys and gals.

Third: Like the original show, I added in athletes and musicians as well as actors.

Fourth: I did limit the amount of ‘Twilight’ kids.

Fifth: It’s subjective of course but I tried to get an interesting array of young celebs who would be fun to watch.
