Actors Chris Colfer and Darren Criss looked super dapper in slick black suits on the red carpet of the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 18) – more pictures below.

The 21 year-old Chris, who plays gay student Kurt Hummel, and 24 year-old Darren, who plays Kurt’s boyfriend Blaine Anderson, quickly became the most handsome and enigmatic gay couple in Glee club history.

Unfortunately, GLEE left empty handed with no awards, but actress Jane Lynch, who plays the devilish Sue Sylvester, delivered a fantastic ceremony as the host of the evening. Congrats to all Gleeks. The new season of “Glee” premieres today (Tuesday, September 20).

Strike a pose!

The cast of Glee is on board with Vogue magazine and the Council of Fashion Designers of America to promote the annual Fashion’s Night Out event.

The PSA features Lea Michele and the cast taking on David Bowie‘s classic song “Fashion” and the entire video will debut on August 23rd on Vogue’s website.

Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and almost all the cast were involved – notably absent was Naya Rivera and Amber Riley.

FNO will take place on September 8th at participating in over 250 cities world wide with special extended hours, promotions and deals. Leading retailers including Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and Nordstroms are among the businesses taking part.

New York City is in full Glee-mania.

The cast of the hit TV show are filming the finale (the New Directions group is headed to Nationals) on the East Coast and Mayor Bloomberg took time out to welcome them at a press conference held at the Gershwin Theater.

Joking with the cast, the Big Apple Mayor said “Mayors don’t get a lot of time to watch television, so I don’t know much about this season’s plot but actually it would be great to see what happens with Finn and Rachel.”

“We’ve been filming ‘Glee’ in Los Angeles for two years. We’ve never met the mayor there,” said executive producer Dante Di Loreto.

The show is filming the season two episode (to air May 24th) and they will be around until the 29th. They are scheduled to shoot scenes at some of the major landmarks, including Lincoln Center, Times Square and Central Park.

So far, most of the cast has been spotted, papped and twitterazzi’d all around the city.

Actor Darren Criss, best known for his role as openly gay Blaine Anderson in “Glee”, lands the cover of Billboard Magazine. The 24 year-old actor, who is preparing to go on tour with his GLEE co-stars (tour dates here), admitted Disney inspired him to get into musicals and musical theater.

GOOD NEWS: Darren revealed that he has been working on a solo album to possibly release in the future. The actor would love to be able to do that for himself and his fans, and is grateful for the doors “Glee” opened for him.

Here are some highlights from Darren Criss’ Billboard interview:

On his love for musical theater: “For me, it was Disney. I remember seeing people’s reaction to Aladdin and thinking, “Oh, man, I want to be a genie when I grow up!” Robin Williams is a pretty big character in San Francisco.”

On prepping for the Glee tour: “A year ago, I was so psyched that my first show in L.A. was at the Troubadour. Talk about so much for baby steps. It’s like, “Wait—Staples Center, are you kidding me?” I was happy to drive around in a beat-up, crappy old van with my bandmates and just go to small clubs around the country.”

On the possibility of a solo album: “We’re working on it—we’re really excited and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m so thrilled that it’s something that can happen because of Glee and like the Warblers album I hope I can do it justice and make it something that people can really enjoy.”

Darren Criss hit the red carpet for the 32nd Annual College Television Awards held at the Renaissance Hotel Hollywood in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 9th.

The competition is presented by the Emmys Foundation and recognizes excellence in college students who produce video, digital and film entries.

Criss told Access Hollywood he’s heard the rumors about the Warblers getting their own TV show and said he’s happy either way; staying on Glee or breaking off for the spin off.

“I’m just happy to be invited to the party. A spin-off, whatever they want, I’m happy where I am,” Criss said.

““I think Blaine serves a really cool function in the grander scheme of ‘Glee,’ so I don’t think we need to focus particularly — you know, but if they want to do it, hey, I’m down! Whatever they want,” he added.

The boys, Glee star Darren Criss and YouTube sensation Greyson Chance, opted for less extravagant and more elegant ensembles to attend celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s Blue Ball, the 33rd Birthday Celebration, held at the Siren Studios in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (March 26)- more pictures below.

The 24 year-old singer/actor, who recently proclaimed to be totally straight, looked extra slick in gray suit and black shirt (NO blue!), while the 13 year-old superstar went for a more casual look. They looked handsome!!

If you don’t know who Greyson is, you definitely should. This kid went behind the piano to deliver one of the most incredible renditions of Lady GaGa’s “Paparazzi” at some school party. Then, he posted the video on YouTube (watch video here) and BOOM! Greyson is a superstar with a record deal.

Actor Darren Criss, best known for playing an openly gay student, Blaine Anderson, on GLEE, quickly become an emerging gay icon, landing a photo spread and interview on the latest issue of OUT Magazine.

In the interview, the 24 year-old wants to set the record straight – Darren is not gay! However, he feels it’s empowering for a straight man to be able to play a homosexual character in a hit show like GLEE. Here are the highlights:

On being part of Glee: “The coolest part is not that it’s a hit show — that’s a bonus — and, of course, that I have a job. But the real cool thing is I was inadvertently raised by the gay community.”

On his character, Blaine: “I think it’s more empowering to everybody, including myself, if I’m articulate about identifying myself as a straight male playing a gay character. Ultimately, that’s more powerful for both communities.”

Lea Michele and Jordin Sparks were among the many singers and musicians who came out to celebrate the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to legend Barbra Streisand at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

American Idol winner Sparks hit the red carpet of the event with very cute purple streaks in her hair.

Glee star Michele performed for Streisand and took on the classic number My Man.

Pasedena, California was the site for FOX TCA Winter Press Tour party and the majority of the Glee cast was there to answer questions from the television critics.

Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz and Naya Rivera all looked beautiful for the event.

Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale and Mark Salling represented almost all the guys of Glee.

Noticeably absent were Lea Michele, Amber Riley and Chord Overstreet who were still filming and unable to get there.
