Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie is contributing his tips for a greener planet in this Friends For Change video. The Disney star who is also involved in improv classes in Los Angeles, advises everyone to use biodegradable products as much as possible. Good advice.

Actor David Henrie and his little brother Lorenzo Henrie were arrested for allegedly picking up a fight at Universal City Walk but apparently things didn’t exactly happened as it was first reported (read more details here).

According to an eyewitness and David’s rep, the “Wizards Of Waverly Place” star was attacked by several security guards when he was merely trying to protect his brother. Here is the shocking full eyewitness report:

“There were some people leaving Universal City in their car and they were being obnoxious,” an eyewitness said. ”After they left, David’s brother was laughing and being silly about it; it seemed like he was joking about these people. Then all of a sudden, I saw a security guy push [Lorenzo]. David tried to get to his brother, and all of a sudden there were about five security guys on them.”

Adds the witness, “David was being held back as his brother was being held on the ground. They were screaming to each other, ‘Are you OK?’ He was obviously trying to help his little brother out. I am not kidding when I tell you the officers punched David a bunch of times and pushed his bro on the ground. From what I saw, they were doing nothing wrong and the security guys overreacted. There was even a guy next to [the brothers] — who didn’t even know them — that got hit by a security guy.”

“A bald security guard instigated and provoked [David] and punched him several times in the face,” the source tells us. “[Lorenzo] was screaming and crying from the pain of having four guys on him, and David was just trying to get the security off his little brother. Then, while one guard handcuffed David, another put his hands on the little brother’s throat and strangled him. He yelled, ‘You’re not so tough now. Shut the f*** up!’”

SHOCKING!! The security guards completely overreacted and now this incident will be like a permanent stain on David’s reputation, who was only trying to protect his own brother.

David’s rep released the following statement, “Contrary to the reports that have circulated in the media, neither David Henrie nor his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo were trying to start a fight last night at Universal City Walk. In fact, they took appropriate measures to avoid an altercation. Unfortunately, private security guards released the instigators, and became extremely aggressive with Lorenzo. When David attempted to protect his younger brother, the security guards became equally aggressive with him. Numerous witnesses at the scene confirmed that David and Lorenzo were simply trying to protect themselves from an unjustified use of force.”

“Wizards Of Waverly Place” star David Henrie and his 16 year-old brother Lorenzo Henrie were both detained for allegedly trying to start a fight at Universal City Walk on Thursday night (April 15).

The 20 year-old and his brother were charged with challenging a person to fight, which is similar to disturbing the peace, but they were already released this morning to their daddy. OUCH!

Actor David Henrie was one super cute kid. David shared on Twitter a picture of his cameo in the TV show “Without a Trace” back in 2002 when he was only 11 years old. How cute?

David tweeted, “someone just emailed me my new default hahaha, classic…. when i was a wee little lad. who can tell me what show the new default pic is from??…. DING DING DING. yes without a trace. I was like 11 there I think maybe younger idk. It was the first episode of the show lol.”

Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie has joined the Code Blue: reviving a generation campaign to help homeless teenagers throughout the country. Henrie said:

“I am so proud and humbled to recently be named the Director of Code Blue Youth Resuscitators (CBYR/Code Blue). What inspired me about Code Blue? It was the active involvement of Jermaine Crawford, who has been working to solve the problem of teenage homelessness, that plagues millions of our Nation’s children; our future generation.

One of my main goals will be to bring as much national attention and awareness of ‘Teen Homelessness’ to other Teens as possible. One of the benefits of my success is the involvement I’ve had with many charitable causes, and I couldn’t help but take note of the tremendous philanthropic and charitable efforts by young people in general… kids really do care and give their time. I want to empower teens to help their peers and bring an end to this tragic dilemma in our great country.”

“Wizards Of Waverly Place” star David Henrie revealed he has written and just shot his very first Wizards episode and talks about his new production company called YUTE Productions. The 20 year-old wants to become a complete actor or a famous movie director.

On writing his first Wizards episode: “We’re in our third season. A big thing that happened to me this year is I got to write on the show. I wrote my own episode, and we shot that a couple of weeks ago. That was pretty big for me. They haven’t set a release date, but I would imagine it will air in the next month or two. I know they’re almost done editing it right now.”

On his own production company: “I started it about a year ago. It’s called YUTE Productions. In “My Cousin Vinny,” Joe Pesci said, “I got a couple of yutes here.” He said it with a New York accent, but it really means “youths.” So that’s why it’s spelled YUTE. It’s looking like my first feature after “Wizards” will be produced through my production company. I’ve been involved in rewrites of the script, it’s in development now. And we’re working on having a social network designed right now. I’ll be writing and possibly directing a full-blown Web series.”

On his big dreams: “I want to act, I want to direct, I want to write. I want to be like a Vince Vaughn or a (Steven) Spielberg.”

10. Gossip Girl - CW

Based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series about spoiled NYC teens on the Upper East Side was launched in 2007 and has been a favorite ever since. While ratings have slipped this year, it is still talked about. The cast (Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley) is super hot and garners lots of press. Hopefully the storylines will pick up and get it back on track.

9. Make It Or Break It – ABC Family

Chelsea Hobbs, Josie Loren, Ayla Kell and Cassie Scerbo are the gymnastic Olympic hopefuls at “The Rock” in Boulder Colorado, training for their shot at the big time. ABC Family’s hit show (scoring their second best premiere) gives athletic teen girls a chance to see and strive for something more than boys and clothes.

8. True Jackson, VP - Nickelodeon

Keke Palmer is terrific as the Vice President of a teen clothing line and her navigation in the world of business and all the normal drama that comes from being a teenager. Palmer is funny, charming and talented. Her costars Ashley Argota and Matt Shively play off her well and the premiere set lots of ratings records for the network.
