After his band One Direction cleaned up at the MTV Video Music AWards Thursday night, it’s no wonder that Niall Horan wanted to go out and celebrate with someone special!

According to reports, Rather than hitting the clubs with his mates, the 18-year-old pop star grabbed a very special lady (*cough* Demi Lovato *cough*)and headed to the L.A. hot spot eatery Pink Taco to enjoy a quiet victory meal.

We think Lovato, who performed her single “Give Your Heart a Break” during the awards pre-show and took home a gilded Moonman for her single “Skyscraper”, is a perfect match for Niall.  His grounded personality is totally suited for her and we wish these two crazy kids the best of luck!

Who knows!?  Maybe something will really click and these two will spend the rest of their lives making beautiful music together – literally and figuratively!

During an L.A. concert this week, the youngest JoBro took the stage alongside Demi Lovato, to help add a little acoustic guitar flare to she singles “Catch Me” and “Don’t Forget.”

Adorable.

Despite the fact that Demi and Joe Jonas are no longer romantically involved, it’s nice to see that she’s still in good with the fam!  The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer even mouthed “I love you” to Nick as he left the stage.

Wait a minute…

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus haven’t even set a date for their upcoming nuptials and already there’s drama surrounding their guest list!

During a recent appearance on On Air With Ryan Seacrest, pop star and former BFF to the bride, Demi Lovato revealed whether or not she was planning on attending the big day.

I don’t know when it is. I don’t even know if she’s planning it yet. I don’t know.

Sounds like she’s a little undecided…

In a candid interview with SELF Magazine, newly crowned X Factor judge Demi Lovato, opens up about dealing with some very personal health issues and how after some very dark times, she is looking towards a brighter, healthier future.

I’ve spent the past two years getting over an eating disorder and issues like self-harming and bipolar disorder. Unlike a person who doesn’t have these problems, I have to work on this stuff every day. I’m reminded of that whenever I eat or feel down…

You can choose to work toward happiness or not. I used to expect it to come to me, but it takes more than seeing a therapist once a week. I make time for myself and meditate. And I haven’t used my cell in three months!  Subconsciously, it was a crutch. When a room gets quiet, what do you do? Grab your phone! Now I can sit and have conversations with people.

No cell phone for three months!  Now that is something to be proud of Demi!

The former Disney sweetheart also revealed what made her start “cutting” to begin with and how she felt after finally being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

There were times I felt so anxious, almost like I was crawling out of my skin, that if I didn’t do something physical to match the way I felt inside, I would explode… I cut myself to take my mind off that. I just didn’t care what happened. I had no fear.

Finding out I had a real emotional disorder helped me put together the pieces of the puzzle… I remember being on my tour bus thinking, ‘My life is so awesome right now, but I’m so depressed.’ Then, a few days later, I’d be on top of the world. It was really confusing. When I got diagnosed, my life made more sense.

We’re glad to see that our girl Demi is doing so well and can’t wait to see more of her on the X Factor this September!

Well hellooooo Demi!

Pop superstar Demi Lovato absolutely ROCKED it during her show in Holmdel, N.J. last night, giving fans both an earful and an eyeful!  The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer looked absolutely fantastic in sky-high, platform booties, black tights, high-waisted red leather shorts and a low-cut, see-through mesh top.

And yes, we know that to the untrained ear, this outfit sounds hideous, but somehow Demi managed to pull it off flawlessly.  Perhaps it was the 3/4 length jacket she threw on over her ensemble to class it up a bit or maybe it’s just that fact that we love us some Demi – either way, we think our girl looked H-O-T!

Sorry to disappoint you, but it wasn’t because of an all-out diva brawl between X Factor newcomers Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.  Not yet anyway

Apparently, Lovato, Spears and L.A. Reid (judge Simon Cowell was out sick) walked off the set of The X Factor yesterday, when a would-be contestant refused to face them, while auditioning in Kansas City, MO.

According to sources, the judges felt the contestant, who apparently  couldn’t sing his way out of a paper bag, wasn’t giving them the respect they deserved and refused to waste their time listening to him sing.

We can only hope this is only the beginning of 2012 The X Factor shenanigans!

Ah summer love!

After months of rumors surrounding a mutual attraction between pop star Demi Lovato and One Direction’s Niall Horan the two teenaged celebs have finally confirmed that they do have eyes for each other!

In a recent interview Demi didn’t hold back her affections for the bloke from across the pond,

I would snog Niall. I do have a little crush on him. I love Niall, he is sooooo cute. I hear he’s really sweet and he’s a cutey pie!

We’ll assume that “snog” means “hold hands with”

During a chat with ETalk, Naill (and all his bandmates) wholeheartedly confirmed that he would be “100%” interested in dating Demi!

So we’ve got to ask – when are these two going to get together already!

Demi Lovato is this month’s Cosmo cover girl and in an exclusive interview with the ‘zine, The X Factor host reveals even more of herself than the racy yellow dress she dons on its cover.

The 19-year-old pop star, who is currently single, opens up about her plans for starting a family and what she considers to be a “deal breaker” when choosing a man.

I don’t have many deal breakers. I’ve done so much in my life, it doesn’t feel right to judge other people… Oh, I know one quality I won’t tolerate: I would never be with a guy who is controlling… I want to be married with kids in 10 years.

Demi also spoke out (again) about her time spent receiving treatment for bipolar disorder back in late 2010.

I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it… It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.

Demi?  A control freak?  We never would’ve guessed!  ;)

In addition to her new hosting duties on The X Factor, the former Disney star will kick off her summer tour June 12th.  Looks like it’s gonna be the summer of Demi!

After months of speculation, FOX officially announced that pop stars Demi Lovato and Britney Spears will be joining L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell, as the newest hosts of The X Factor.

Doesn’t it just feel so good to finally have some closure!?

Show creator and judge, Simon Cowell (who’s usually such a grouch…but love him for it!) says that he is thrilled that Demi and Britney are joining the show and that they will be welcomed additions to the judges table.

I’m absolutely delighted that Britney and Demi are joining us… Britney Spears remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she’s talented, fascinating – and I believe she knows exactly how to spot The X Factor…. Demi’s had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She’s young, confident, and enthusiastic… It’s important that she speaks to our younger audience. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes to the show.

The newly married Spears also spoke out about her excitement over teaming up with Cowell and the entire cast of The X Factor,

I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out!

Watch out?  Watch out for what exactly Britney?  Please don’t tell us you think you’re going to go head-to-head with Simon in a battle of wits.  We just don’t think we have the stomach for that…

Move over Miley, there’s a new X Factor judge in town!

According to reports, former So Random star Demi Lovato is in talks with Simon Cowell about becoming the next celebrity judge on the Fox hit show.

If Demi signs on, she will mostly likely join fellow pop star Britney Spears as the shows two female panelists, replacing Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, who were axed from the reality series after the show’s first season.

We think Demi would be awesome as an X Factor judge.  She’s honest, but knows how it feels to be on the receiving end of some pretty tough criticism – so we don’t think she would be too harsh towards the contensants.

That show doesn’t need anymore brutal honesty (-cough- Simon -cough-)!
