After signing off from social media nearly a week ago, former Disney star Demi Lovato  has finally decided to make her dramatic return to the Twitterverse.

Hooray!

And it  seems that, at least for now, Twitter is the only thing the 19-year-old will be returning to – that’s right everyone, the social media sign off was not due to the Skyscraper songstress landing herself back in rehab.  Demi told E! News that “all the treatment rumors are utterly false.”

Phew!

However, although Demi has us all pleased as punch that she’s rejoined the world of the Tweeting, we weren’t exactly overjoyed to hear that she won’t be returning to the screen anytime soon.  In an official statement made to UK Glamour, the pop star shared the following:

Right now I don’t need to get in front of a TV camera which adds 10 pounds and makes you feel more self-conscious about your body image… Being on camera makes me nervous. It takes a level of confidence and security which I’m still working on. I’m walking with my head held high, but I never forget that I’m a work in progress. When I’m ready, I’ll find the right role and get back into it, but for now, I’m being cautious.

Good for you Demi!  We’ll all be here waiting for you whenever you decide the time is right!

It looks like the oft-controversial, former Disney starlet Demi Lovato is finally trying out her “edit” button out for size – at least in the Twitterverse anyway.  In a surprising PR move, the 19-year-old said “sayonara” to her 5,637,588 followers today Tweeting,

Twitter break. It’s for the best actually. Who allows me to have this thing anyways?!!! I just get myself in trouble! Haha. Anyway… BYE!

Um, what!?  Is this for good?  Where are you going Demi?  That is NOT enough information – I know you only have 140 characters, but c’mon!  You can’t just abandon us like this!  DEMIIIIIIIIIIII!

Demi Lovato may be one of Hollywood’s “It” girls right now, but that doesn’t mean the 19-year-old doesn’t have a few complaints for the man upstairs.  The former Sonny with a Chance star took to her Twitter today to file an official grievance with Heaven’s customer service department.

Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him… But there’s never a doubt in my mind He’s gonna pull me through it all. I know you’re there God. But umm… Really dude?

Dude?  Hey Demi, if you think things are tough now, just wait and see how bad they get if you keep calling God, “Dude”.  Demi continued her tirade about her terrible misfortune Tweeting,

He never fails to show me He’s by my side though. Even in the tough times. I’m not very religious but I’m VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. I’m not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting…

Alright, I like where your head’s at Demi, but let’s keep the complaining to a minimum – you do make your living singing songs to millions of adoring fans – it can’t be all bad.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you… or fed you (or I guess in this case, no one’s really doing much eating…)

Former Disney sweetheart Demi Lovato took to her Twitter yesterday to put the channel that made her a star on blast for making light of eating disorders.  The 19-year-old lashed out against the joke  ”I could just eat you up, well if I ate.” from the show “Shake it Up” Tweeting,

I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDERand yet still make joke about that very disease….. #nice.

The network was quick to respond via their PR Twitter account (isn’t it nice how everything is so personal these days?) and assured the irate actress that the joke would be pulled from the episode.

We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them … It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!

Glad that’s settled!

Pop singer Demi Lovato showed off her new tattoo in a picture posted on her Twitter account yesterday.  The 19-year-old had the word “faith” inked on the back of her right forearm, most likely to commemorate the two years since checking herself into a rehabilitation facility.

When the “Skyscraper” singer had the words “Stay Strong” tattooed on herself back in March, she remarked that she chose those words because of the support she felt from her family, friends and fans during the difficult road to recovery.

The journey that I went through and the support of my fans was so meaningful to me that I wanted to thank my fans in a way that I know can never be forgotten.

But those aren’t the only tats the former Disney star is sporting these days - Demi also has a small heart tattooed on the inside of her wrist because it was …”something that my fans were actually drawing on their wrists while I was still in treatment.”

I wonder what tattoo #4 will be???

The 2011 MTV VMAs had lots of gorgeous gals but Demi Lovato managed to make a stunning entrance in silver that turned everybody’s head.

The 19 year-old singer chose the metallic dress by Mandalay that had a deep v for a sexy peep at her cleavage.

Lovato’s long, flowing brown locks were left curly and highlighted in copper at the tips. She accented her shiny frock with more shiny baubles – bracelets and rings. Demi looked great!

Demi also caught up with BFF Selena Gomez on the black carpet at the pre-show and the “Skyscraper” singer met up with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.

Actress/singer Demi Lovato, who recently completely deleted her Twitter account, decided to cancel her upcoming tour appearances with the Jonas Brothers and finally take care of herself as she has checked into a treatment center for emotional and physical issues.

Demi’s rep says in a statement: “Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time. Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”

The 18 year-old does not have a problem with drug, but apparently she has been silently struggling for a long time for being bullied. Demi, who is rumored to be cutting herself as a result of her internal struggles, told Ellen DeGeneres she was bullied so badly in the 7th grade that she had to be home schooled.

Demi always felt her successful acting career made her a target of mean bullies, who said and did everything to make her feel even worse. Sources revealed that a recent argument with a female member of her tour was the catalyst for her to finally seek treatment.

It’s really not easy to grow up with so much pressure on your shoulders. People can be really mean when they have no idea who you are and certain words are too hurtful to hear. People do not even realize how much damage words can cause to the target of mean jokes.

The 18 year-old, who recently broke up with her best friend Joe Jonas, could not handle the pressure she was under and apparently decided to move on with her life. Demi needs to find a new way to communicate with her real fans, who have given her their unconditional support.

Actress/singer Demi Lovato recently declared she hates most of those gossip sites out there that always post the most unflattering pictures of her persona. I totally understand Demi. Sometimes a girl wakes up and does not like what she sees in the mirror… or all over gossip sites!

Demi tweeted, “I love how some gossip sites deliberately post pictures with disgusting angles of me. Hahaha thanks guys… Thaaanks. Ps. I hate you.”

There is no reason for Demi to feel insecure about herself and her body image. The 18 year-old is super talented and absolutely gorgeous. No kidding. I have yet to find an unflattering photograph of Demi because I always think she looks fantastic.

Demi knows the price she has to pay for being famous. Fame is definitely hard to handle, especially when your whole life is being scrutinized and there’s a lot of people, who do not really know you, judging you and fabricating stories.

Demi said, “I love my job, but the negative stuff in the media can bother me. There have even been times when my parents have been worried about it. One time they woke me up in the middle of the night after hearing a rumor that wasn’t even close to true. It can overwhelming and I kinda feel like, ‘What am I doing this for?’ I spend all this time working so hard just for people to bad mouth me. But then I’ll watch a few fan videos that people have taken the time out of their day to make, and that’s what makes it worthwhile.”

At the end of the day Demi must realize it is all worth it because of her family, loyal friends and incredible fans. GossipTeen HEARTS Demi!!
