Actress/singer Demi Lovato, who recently completely deleted her Twitter account, decided to cancel her upcoming tour appearances with the Jonas Brothers and finally take care of herself as she has checked into a treatment center for emotional and physical issues.

Demi Lovato: “Bullying Is A Very Serious Thing”

Demi’s rep says in a statement: “Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time. Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”

The 18 year-old does not have a problem with drug, but apparently she has been silently struggling for a long time for being bullied. Demi, who is rumored to be cutting herself as a result of her internal struggles, told Ellen DeGeneres she was bullied so badly in the 7th grade that she had to be home schooled.

Demi always felt her successful acting career made her a target of mean bullies, who said and did everything to make her feel even worse. Sources revealed that a recent argument with a female member of her tour was the catalyst for her to finally seek treatment.

It’s really not easy to grow up with so much pressure on your shoulders. People can be really mean when they have no idea who you are and certain words are too hurtful to hear. People do not even realize how much damage words can cause to the target of mean jokes.

The 18 year-old, who recently broke up with her best friend Joe Jonas, could not handle the pressure she was under and apparently decided to move on with her life. Demi needs to find a new way to communicate with her real fans, who have given her their unconditional support.

Actress/singer Demi Lovato recently declared she hates most of those gossip sites out there that always post the most unflattering pictures of her persona. I totally understand Demi. Sometimes a girl wakes up and does not like what she sees in the mirror… or all over gossip sites!

Demi tweeted, “I love how some gossip sites deliberately post pictures with disgusting angles of me. Hahaha thanks guys… Thaaanks. Ps. I hate you.”

There is no reason for Demi to feel insecure about herself and her body image. The 18 year-old is super talented and absolutely gorgeous. No kidding. I have yet to find an unflattering photograph of Demi because I always think she looks fantastic.

Demi knows the price she has to pay for being famous. Fame is definitely hard to handle, especially when your whole life is being scrutinized and there’s a lot of people, who do not really know you, judging you and fabricating stories.

Demi said, “I love my job, but the negative stuff in the media can bother me. There have even been times when my parents have been worried about it. One time they woke me up in the middle of the night after hearing a rumor that wasn’t even close to true. It can overwhelming and I kinda feel like, ‘What am I doing this for?’ I spend all this time working so hard just for people to bad mouth me. But then I’ll watch a few fan videos that people have taken the time out of their day to make, and that’s what makes it worthwhile.”

The Camp Rock 2 star, who announced she was taking a break from twitter on September 9th,  had decided to return (if only temporarily) and tweeted this:

Camp Rock star Demi Lovato had already hinted she wanted to get away from Twitter because she felt like she wasn’t enjoying her real life since she was so addicted to it. Well, Demi just announced she would be leaving Twitter… for now. Demi did say it was a “Twitterbreak”.

Demi tweeted, “About to say goodbye to twitter… I love my fans so much but the access that the other people have is uncomfortable to me. Twitterbreak. Peace.”

No!! Demi, don’t go!! We don’t want Demi to leave us, but we understand why she needs some privacy and space at this time. We all know Demi’s true love, Joe Jonas has already moved on and is currently dating Ashley Greene…. can you imagine what the cruel things some people must say to Demi on Twitter!?!?

The good news is: Demi didn’t delete her Twitter account completely. Demi will be back!

Singer/actress Demi Lovato revealed she is really enjoying the chance of getting to know R&B star Trey Songz better after they became “friends” on Twitter. Demi and Trey have been DMing (DirectMessage) each other… GASP! It’s love!

Demi said, “I’m kind of digging Trey Songz – he’s pretty hot. We followed each other on Twitter and direct message each other… He’s pretty awesome.”

The 18 year-old Camp Rock star also admitted she thinks Trey is “pretty hot” and attractive. Watch out, Joe Jonas!! Demi is cute, single and talented. Trey is a fool if he doesn’t give Demi a chance. TOO bad we heard Trey is into older women.

Camp Rock star Demi Lovato seems to be getting ready to pull a Miley Cyrus and completely delete her Twitter account, leaving the popular social networking site to start living her real life. We beg, “Demi don’t leave us!”

Demi tweeted, “Sometimes the internet can be so frustrating you wonder why you allow it in your life at all… Its just really sad how addicted to social networking we are. The start age is getting younger and younger… How many of you would choose reading a book over twitter?”

We understand Demi! It’s not easy to go online and find people talking about your personal life and basically judging your every move, when they really don’t know the truth.

HOWEVER, Twitter is the best way to stay in touch with fans who really love Demi! And it also gives us an opportunity to get to know Demi better and she is one beautiful person! Stay, Demi, stay!

Actress Demi Lovato posted a picture of her meeting American soccer hero Landon Donovan at the Dodgers Stadium this weekend on Twitter. The 17 year-old also had the honor of singing the National Anthem (watch video here).

Actress Demi Lovato seems to have permanently inked the words “You Make Me Beautiful” to the right side of her rib cage. We did not want to believe the tattoo was real, but when asked about it and what it means on Twitter, Demi revealed, “it says “you make me beautiful” from Bethany Dillon’s song ‘Beautiful’. That song changed my life.”
