Talk about biting the hand that feeds you… or fed you (or I guess in this case, no one’s really doing much eating…)

Former Disney sweetheart Demi Lovato took to her Twitter yesterday to put the channel that made her a star on blast for making light of eating disorders.  The 19-year-old lashed out against the joke  ”I could just eat you up, well if I ate.” from the show “Shake it Up” Tweeting,

I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDERand yet still make joke about that very disease….. #nice.

The network was quick to respond via their PR Twitter account (isn’t it nice how everything is so personal these days?) and assured the irate actress that the joke would be pulled from the episode.

We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them … It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!

Glad that’s settled!

Disney star Bella Thorne hosted the Grand Opening of YoBlendz store in Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this weekend.

The teenager met fans and signed autographs with the crowd at the event filled with family activities including face painting, balloon artists and other children’s activities.

Thorne, 13, was born in Florida and has hosted other opening of the South Florida chain. One held in Weston, FL was such a success about 1,000 people came out to greet the Shake It Up teen!

Don’t forget to watch Bella and her costar Zendaya in the Shake It Up season two premiere on September 18th at 8PM.

Brandi, Noah and Miley Cyrus are all going to be aunts!

The Cyrus girls’ brother, musician Trace Cyrus, and his girlfriend, Disney star Brenda Song, are having a baby.

The Social Network actress is about 8 weeks along and the pregnancy was reportedly unplanned.

Trace, who’s got a clothing line Southern Made Hollywood Paid and is fronting the band Ashland HIGH, and Brenda are now living together in his Los Angeles area apartment.

“”It was not expected,” the source told US Magazine. “They were both startled to find out she’s pregnant…They are figuring out how to handle it.”

Brenda is best known for her role as London Tipton on The Suite Life with Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. She will also be seen with Katerina Graham in Boogie Town.

Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet smiled as they took in the happiest place on Earth – Disneyland.

The super cute duo were photographed on Monday riding the Astro Orbiter attraction and sharing some Disney park treats and goodies at the Anaheim, California amusement park.

The 20 year-old star of Scream 4 and the 22 year-old Glee actor have reportedly been dating since April and they were spotted together at Coachella Festival earlier this spring.

The couple also got in a few more carnival rides when they went to the Super Saturday charity event in The Hamptons at the beginning of August.

Demi Lovato revealed the art work for her new album Unbroken.

The 19 year-old singer tweeted the beautiful new cover shot, with a gorgeous Demi looking fabulous.

Lovato has long flowing hair, deep plum colored lips and heavily defined eyebrows in a very misty/soft-focus shot. She’s wearing a cream fur shrug and lots of rings for the photo.

Unbroken will drop on September 20th. Her first single “Skyscraper” continues to climb the charts.

The blue carpet was rolled out on Wednesday afternoon for the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood with Ashley Tisdale attending.

Tisdale wore a very cute All-Saints Aztec print shift dress (see AnnaSophia Robb in the same cute frock here) and kept her hair casual and pulled back on the sides.

The 26 year-old spoke about how her family helps her and being grateful for everything that comes her way.

“I don’t know what it take to be an “it” girl myself. I think my family grounds me a lot, definitely,” Tisdale said.

“I don’t take anything for granted. I’m always excited for everything that I do; it’s like the first time. Which is something that is always fresh feeling, I love that. I never want to get jaded like that.”

Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension premiered tonight on Disney and runs all weekend long.

From karaoke in a Japanese club to pinata busting (using a light-saber) with a Mariachi band in purple field, Selena Gomez sends you on a trippy journey in her latest video “Love You Like A Love Song.”

Gomez is dressed as Marie Antoinette lounging on a purple piano, she has 50s cat eye glasses in a tricked out purple car and even ends up in a wall of televisions with an 80s Max Headroom kinda vibe.

One thing missing? The purple ponies that Pink tweeted about.

The premiere for Disney‘s animated film Cars 2 was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday and Hailee Steinfeld was on hand.

The 14 year-old actress, who is the face of Prada‘s younger line Miu Miu, chose to wear a multi-print dress from Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti and Frye Engineer boots. She paired the outfit with a casual cropped denim jacket and looked super cute.

Steinfeld is attached to play London Lane in Forgotten, based on the YA book by Cat Patrick. She is also the title heroine in Romeo and Juliet with Douglas Booth as Romeo and Ed Westwick as Tybalt.

Selena Gomez takes the cover of Teen Vogue for the June/July issue and tells the magazine she wants “to be in love.”

“When your heart is broken, you want to hate everything,” the Disney star said. “You want to say, ‘I don’t believe in love; this is ridiculous. It’s not supposed to hurt this much.’”

“But at this moment in my life, I’m at a point where I want to be in love, to give my all and fall head over heels,” Selena told Teen Vogue. “I’m eighteen. I’m not going to marry anybody I’m with, and I know that.”

Gomez understands the risks but says she is ready for the reward.

“The next heartbreak I have, I’m sure I’ll be like, ‘How can I live without this person?’ But I’m still trying to dive in and enjoy it.”

American Idol alum Jordin Sparks is taken to a magic world in the music video for “The World I Knew”, released as the theme song of Disneynature’s new movie “African Cats” (watch video below).

The music video features some exclusive scenes from the movie. If you haven’t watch it, you don’t know what you are missing. The movie tells the story of a lion cub (it’s the most adorable thing ever!) and a cheetah mother, who will do anything to protect her cute cubs.

African Cats Official Synopsis:

African Cats, referred to as a “true life adventure,” tells the true story of two animal families in the wild by using real-life footage. The film focuses on a young lion cub named Mara being raised by her mother, Layla, a mother cheetah named Sita who is raising five newborns, and Fang, the leader of a pride defending his family from a banished lion. With so many species competing for space and food in the savannah, the animals must figure out the best way to survive.
