Zac Efron cut his hair.

The 23 year-old actor who had to have his head shaved for his part as a Marine in the movie The Lucky One, decided to put it to good use.

Efron convinced some of the crew members to cut their hair as well and donate them to Locks of Love, the children’s charity dedicated to providing hairpieces to kids who have long term medical hair loss.

The New Orleans based Kingsley House (where Lucky was filming) is also getting a holiday donation from the actor. Efron pledged money to the local organization for each crew member that had their hair cut.

Now that was very nice.

Emily Osment got her holiday jingle on as she performed at the Rock The Red Kettle Concert in Glendale, CA on Wednesday December 15th.

The Hannah Montana actress was joined by other musical acts including Savvy, New Hollow and One Call to support The Salvation Army’s annual red kettle holiday campaign to raise funds.

To donate online go to onlineredkettle.org to help the organization reach it’s goal of $3,000,000 this year.

“Get Weak” is a song Pixie Lott wrote in response to the pressures of being bullied and the talented singer has donated it to BeatBullying.org. Lott has been named the Ambassador of the organization and the 19 year-old is stepping up to get the word out about the online protest The Big March.

Pixie Lott today donates her anti-bullying anthem ‘Get Weak,’ penned about the pressures of bullying, to raise awareness of Beatbullying’s The Big March. In her new role as ambassador for the charity, Pixie has created a virtual representation of herself – an avatar complete with her trade mark platinum blonde hair and big hazel eyes – which will join 400,000 other supporters on the pioneering protest march. Pixie’s avatar also stars in a poignant music video to accompany the track.

It’s great that she is lending her voice and song to stop the painful and very hurtful bullying that causes so much anguish.

Pixie also announced on her twitter that she is filming the video for her next single “Can’t Make This Over.”

Keke Palmer is very fortunate and the soon-to-be 17 year-old knows it. Palmer’s seventeenth b-day is just around the corner and the True Jackson VP star is requesting something from you: help out those who need clean drinking water. From Keke’s blog:

Hey guys,
I have been working with charities that help children starting way back when I was in Akeelah and The Bee, but I have never done anything like this, I was just so moved by My Charity Water and wanted to help bring clean water to children, water should be clean and available to all people at least that is how I feel, I just want to help in some way.

On August 26th I turn 17th, but instead of birthday presents this year I am asking friends, family, and fans to help me bring clean water to children. I have been so very blessed in my life and it would truly be a great birthday if I could use it to help someone in need.

Justin Bieber is proving what a generous heart he has. The Canadian teen pop star is donating to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to help residents affected by the flooding that hit the Volunteer State earlier this year.

“I’m really glad to be here and to help out something that’s really important to me,” the Tennessean quoted the Canadian pop sensation as saying. “Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and you know Nashville, there’s so much music history here.”

Bieber raised over $32,000 from his sold out show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and the concert promoter has promised to match the donation. Nice!

A new charitable campaign is underway from Neutrogena. Brand ambassadors Vanessa Hudgens and Hayden Panettiere helped announce the initiative by the cosmetics giant to give away up to $200,000 to various charities and teens can help decide who gets the money. By purchasing the Wave Sonic Power-Cleaner and Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit product, those proceeds will be used by GlobalGiving for disaster relief, education and environmental causes.

“Often people want to participate, but they don’t know how so the fact Neutrogena is opening the door and kids are getting to be a part of something and help the world is an amazing thing to be a part of,” says Panettiere.

Between now and August 23rd, go to Neutrogena’s Facebook page and take the quiz to determine where you want Neutrogena to give that green.

Nina Dobrev has autographed a pair of jeans from Aeropostale for the annual winter Teens for Jeans campaign. DoSomething.org organinzes the drive to help homeless teens in the US, Canada and Haiti. The Vampire Diaries star put her stamp on a pair of denim along with Adam Lambert, Kellan Lutz and JoJo. Check out the promo that Ashley Greene and Justin Long did earlier this year here.

Dr. Carlisle Cullen is a man of his word; both the character in the ‘Twilight’  series and the actor who portrays him: Peter Facinelli. Facinelli recently made a bet with his friend Rob DeFranco that he could get 500,000 Twitter fans following him. In winning the bet, the actor was able to get DeFranco into a very embarassing situation on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Rob DeFranco paid off his end of the bet too when he was forced to dance down Hollywood Blvd. Tuesday morning wearing a bikini and singing “Single Ladies,” a fate chosen by his “sick and twisted Twitter followers,” Facinelli said, adding, “who I love dearly.”

The ‘New Moon’ actor also spent the afternoon signing autographs at the store Affliction in LA and in turn, the clothing store donated $100,000 to The Christopher Reeves Foundation on behalf of all the Twitter Facinelli followers. Nice thing for Facinelli, DeFranco and Affliction to do.
