No matter what problems she’s faced in the past, Demi Lovato is trying hard to face them honestly and not lay the blame where it doesn’t belong.

Lovato, 19, spoke to Elle magazine about her recent troubles and fesses up to her once terrible ‘tude.

“I was completely out of line all summer,” she says. “Just the worst attitude—totally ungrateful.”

As tempting as it may be for the “Skyscraper” singer to blame stress of the Camp Rock 2 tour with her ex Joe Jonas, and his girlfriend-at-the-time Ashley Greene, she says the issues were much deeper than that.

“I wouldn’t credit my meltdown to a guy. There was so much other stuff in my life.”

Lovato has spoken in the past about the taunting and bullying she endured in school and it was so bad for her, it led to her cutting herself and eventually, being home schooled by her mother. She says that to this day, she doesn’t know what led the mean girls to ridicule her so badly.

“Those girls never gave me an explanation for why they were bullying me,” she says. “One of the words they called me was fat. At that age, you think, Oh, so I don’t have friends because I’m fat.”

Lovato is moving past and through her music, she’s able to mature and blossom.

“What was always markedly different about her was that adult quality,” says Disney Studios chairman Rich Ross. “When you meet her, you know this isn’t a girl in stiletto heels—this is a woman.”

Actress Emma Stone looks super cute and glam in a canary yellow dress on the cover of the upcoming issue of ELLE Magazine (July 2011)- pictures below. The 22 year-old Easy A star reveals she is just a girl with lots of insecurities like any other girl in the world.

Emma will openly talk about anything, but do not ask her about her personal life. When asked about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Kieran Culkin, she declined to comment, saying, “You have to keep some things sacred…”

Here are some highlights from Emma Stone’s ELLE interview:

On not being recognized as easily in public with her new look: “I mean, I haven’t been around very long. I can’t expect everyone to have seen The House Bunny. Oh God. I am having such waves of internal embarrassment, which now I’m admitting on a tape recorder. This is so one of the things I should keep in my head.”

On having braces and wearing glasses while growing up: “And I sucked my thumb until I was 11, so I had this expander in. I was a good-looking kid. I never felt, like, dorky. I was just like, ‘Yup, these are my braces. I’ve had them forever.’”

On her career: “It’s so funny how different life could have been. I went to so many auditions. I remember my audition for Heroes. I went in right after Hayden Panettiere. Now here we are in this rented house. It feels like it just happened.”

On wanting to be believable in her roles: “I like to look like a person. It drives me crazy when you see women in movies playing teachers, and they have biceps. It totally takes me out of the movie. I start thinking, Wow, that actress playing this part really looks great!”

Nina Dobrev lands inside Elle Magazine’s February issue ‘Out of Character’ feature of women in television.

The Vampire Diaries star shared why she likes her TV role:

“Working on TV, you have this one character, and you have time to explore her, create her, see her develop into different people.”

The actress also tells Elle how hard it is to wear the period costumes:

“Wearing a corset kicks the wind out of you—I almost passed out once wearing it for 16 hours.”

It’s been such a long wait but Nina and costars Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice Accola and Michael Trevino will return with new TVD episodes Thursday January 27th.

Elle and Express “25 At 25″ Event brought out lots of Tinseltown’s brightest stars to the Palihouse in West Hollywood, California. Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice, Avan Jogia, Tiffany Thornton, Chelsea Staub, Anna Kendrick, AJ Michalka and Cassie Scerbo all strolled the black carpet for the celebration.

Jessica Szohr wore a very tight Leger black dress to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week show of Herve Leger by Max Azria. The Gossip Girl star had the stamped leather and sheer paneled dress paired with chunky black heels and a messy pony tail to the runway show for the Spring 2011 collection.

Szohr has had a busy summer – covering Nylon magazine, press for Piranha 3D and filming the new season of GG. The actress gave Elle magazine a quick rundown of the rest of her summer:

How have you been spending your summer?
I have spent time at home with my family and had some nice, chill hangouts on my roof deck and friends’ roofs! I also tried to get some sun and relax. When summer starts for everyone else, I am back working so I tried to make the best of work and play.

Best memories?
I enjoyed a few concerts like the Strokes, The Black Keys and Lauren Hill and I loved trips with friends and family.

Professional projects you were involved in?
An indie called Hiroken! We filmed it outside of Los Angeles.

Any hobbies?
I’ve been taking Spanish lessons online just for fun with a friend!

What’s been inspiring you?
I just finished Eat, Pray, Love and I really enjoyed Animal Kingdom because the performances were so wonderful. I purchased an interesting piece of art called A Beautiful Look Away by Robert Pollard and I’m excited for Californication to start!

Most looking forward to this fall?
Sweaters, the leaves changing colors, and Thanksgiving. Also, I love nice fires with hot chocolate and tea!

Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian caused quite a stir earlier in the year when the duo was photographed frolicking in the surf of the Bahamas. Beliebers said very nasty and vile things to Kim K. on twitter and Justin had to ask his over-zealous fans to knock it off. (Honestly, it was pretty over-the-top ridiculous.) So what was really going down? A photoshoot for Elle magazine, that’s all. Using the theme of The Graduate, (an older woman seduces a much younger man – see the movie – and learn what a cougar really is) the September issue has all sorts of smoldering Kim and Justin looking on admiringly in a great photo spread. Here’s what Kim K. had to say about it:

“Remember those paparazzi pics of me and Justin Bieber in the Bahamas!? Well, I can now reveal that we were shooting for Elle Magazine! I just received the pics from the shoot and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!The theme of the shoot was ‘The Graduate,’ for obvious reasons, LOL.

Justin and I had such a fun time together at the shoot. What do you guys think of the pics?”

Actress Kristen Stewart looks extra classy and sexy on the cover of the upcoming issue of ELLE Magazine (June 2010). The Twilight star confessed that she is very shy and basically on the verges of tears every time the screaming fans try to greet her. Kristen also claims she will never discuss her personal life and who she is dating because she fears it will never satisfy the media.

On her loss of privacy: “Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, ‘Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I’m in?’ I can’t be by myself and I like being by myself.”

On criticism of her public behavior: “I think it’s funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I’m nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward—and I am—but those are bad words for them.”

On her red-carpet demeanor: “People say that I’m miserable all the time. It’s not that I’m miserable, it’s just that somebody’s yelling at me…I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying…It’s a physical reaction to the energy that’s thrown at you.”

On caring: “I hate it when they say I don’t give a sh*t, because nobody cares more than I do. I’m telling you I don’t know anybody who does this that gives a sh*t more than I do.”

Disney star Miley Cyrus does a very grown-up photo shoot for the latest issue of ELLE Magazine (August 2009). The 16 year-old star, who rocks a sexy black outfit with fabulous high leather boots, talks about fashion, beauty, her former boyfriend Justin Gaston and her glamorous lifestyle.

Here are some highlights from Miley Cyrus’ ELLE Magazine interview:

On the value of style: “I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20. I’m really into high fashion.”

On natural beauty: “I like these crooked. I love my teeth. My dad won’t let me fix my teeth or cut my hair. He loves it. He’s like, ‘It’s you!’”

On Justin Gaston, her boyfriend at the time of the interview: “We’re together, and then again, we’re not. Some people see us more as friends and don’t get why we work in a relationship.
