22-year-old actress Emma Watson is the stunningly beautiful cover girl for the October issue of Glamour magazine and inside the ‘zine’s pages, the Perks of Being a Wallflower star opens up about everything from chopping off her signature locks to having like, “6,000 boyfriends”.

And can you blame any of them?  Hermione grew up to be quite the looker!

According to Watson, who was recently spotted smooching her current squeeze Will Adamowitz at the Coachella Music Festival, mixing her personal life with fame is something that comes with the territory.

My friend got me tickets [to the Coachella music festival] for my birthday, and what am I going to say? ‘No, I’m not going to go, because I don’t want to be photographed?’… But it was a huge crowd, and I thought there was no way anyone could get pictures of me, but somehow they found me.

It’s difficult on my dating life because anyone I get photographed with is automatically my boyfriend…So it just makes it look like I’ve had like, 6,000 boyfriends.

You gotta love a witch with a sense of humor, right?

The plucky Brit also shared that she’s most comfortable in her own skin when her formerly flowing locks are cropped short – (sound familiar *cough* Miley Cyrus *cough*?!)

I have to [grow it out] for roles. But if I had it my way, I would have just kept it short forever. Of course, men like long hair. There’s no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, “Why did you do that? That’s such an error.” And I was like, “Well, honestly, I don’t really care what you think!” I’ve never felt so confident as I did with short hair—I felt really good in my own skin
.

For what it’s worth Emma, we think you look absolutely fabulous with short hair!  Plus, if any guy ever tells you that cutting your hair short was an “error” ever again, just smack him upside the head for using the word “error” in everyday conversation.

The 21 year-old actress finally confessed she had a huge crush on her co-star Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise. Really? Draco was Emma’s first crush? What about Harry? Bad boys are more fun!

On celebrity crushes: “I’ve never understood having crushes on people who you don’t know in real life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don’t intend to fantasize about people I don’t know!”

On Draco Malfoy: “For the first two movies, I had a huge crush on Tom Felton. He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it – we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool.”

On art: “If I hadn’t done Harry Potter, I would have gone and done years of art. I really do love it, and I’d love to write.”

Emma gives some good advice about what to wear and how to behave on a date – two words “Be Yourself!” Here are some highlights from Emma Watson’s Seventeen Mexico interview:

Is it easy to pick up when someone likes you because of your fame?
You can tell immediately when that’s the case. I try not to worry about it too much, otherwise I wouldn’t give myself the chance to meet anybody. I’d neve be able to trust people again and I wouldn’t want that.

It seems like you have everything. You’re famous but you try to have a normal life for someone your age. Is something missing in your life?
I need to have more fun, like anyone my age! I’m always working, I’m addicted to work. My head needs to rest.

What’s a normal day in your life?
I don’t have an ordinary day because I’m trapped between two different lives. One day I’m filming, th next I’m off to college, the next day I’m home, then I’m designing clothes. There are no typical days for me.

After Harry Potter what has been your biggest challenge?
My first day in college. I didn’t know anybody, I was very nervous, in a new country. Actually I didn’t want to leave my room. I’m so proud I’m over it.

What is the best outfit for a date?
Something that suits you, that looks good on you but at the same time special. You’re already stressed out enough when you go out with someone you like, so you shouldn’t wear uncomfortable shoes or a dress that you can’t breathe in.

Any love advice?
I’m probably not the right person to answer that. I think you should be yourself because otherwise, you’ll be on the wrong path and the results are not gonna be pretty. Be yourself, be honest. Don’t take it too seriously, that’s been one of my biggest mistakes. You’re young, just have fun!

In the interview, Emma, who is currently studying at Brown University in Rhode Island, confessed she is the worst student in her acting classes. We find that hard to believe since she was the highest paid actress in Hollywood in 2009.
