Actress Emma Watson officially joined the popular social networking site, Twitter. You can now contact the 20 year-old Harry Potter star by sending her messages via Twitter @emwatson.

Emma tweeted, “Hi everyone, this is the real me! I won’t be able to tweet often but I just wanted to say hello. Have a great summer, love Emma x”, adding, “Thank you for all your lovely (and amusing) messages! It’s official: I have the best fans! I’m loving the London sunshine today, Emma x.”

The Harry Potter star Emma Watson is furious with the reports coming out of a fake Twitter account that she is supposedly going to Yale University.

A statement on her official website said: “There have been several rumors spreading recently that Emma has accepted a place at Yale University after ‘telling her fans via her Twitter account’.

“Emma does not have a Twitter account and these rumors are false. Emma is still trying to decide whether she wants to attend university in the UK or the USA and hasn’t accepted any placements at this time.”

Emma is planning on going to college and has applied to various universities but there is no official word on where and what she is going to take.
