Blake Lively cozied up to her favorite shoe designer Christian Louboutin at Footwear News 24th Annual Achievement Awards in New York City. Fashionable Blake wore a Prabal Gurung shimmering green dress with (you guessed it!) Louboutin heels.

Lively recently got her hands on a lot of Louboutin heels at a designer sample sale and made off with 40 pairs (see that story here.) The Gossip Girl knows what looks good on her!

Blake Lively grabs one more magazine cover before 2010 closes out. This time it’s the December issue of Marie Claire Australia. The fashionable actress looks fabulous as always.

Lively’s cover isn’t the only fashion headline she’s making. In NYC she attended the 2BHAPPY jewelry launch by Lorraine Schwartz and wore a stunning, boob-popping Versace. The knee length gold dress with fringe (see photos under) was paired with Christian Louboutin shoes for an eye-catching effect.

But it’s her love of Louboutin shoes that is becoming legendary. The Gossip Girl fed her shoe addiction in a mighty way as Blake picked up 40 pairs at an exclusive designer sample sale in the Big Apple. The shoe prices start at $150 – $225 for an estimated total of $9,000. That is quite a chunk of change.

“I have sisters, so I’m getting gifts for them and for friends,” the star explained before confessing, “Of course, I got quite a few for myself, too.”

She has very lucky sisters and friends! It’s her money and she looks great so why shouldn’t she?

Always fashionable, Ashley Greene will be the perfect choice to host a new CW TV special revolving around the young and the hip in the design business. Fashion Forward: Making It will air on December 8th. Here is the press release:

The CW Network will air FASHION FORWARD: MAKING IT, on Wednesday, December 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). The one-hour special is a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to make it in the fashion industry, from the creation of designs to building a business and a brand.

Hosted by The Twilight Saga actress Ashley Greene, FASHION FORWARD: MAKING IT will highlight the young designers and celebrities who are putting their own unique stamp on the industry today. Among those featured are Marcus Wainwright and David Neville from rag & bone, Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani.

This is perfect for Greene. I hope this special really does give a true behind-the-scenes look at the industry and not just the glamour of those who have made it.

She’s one of the most fashionable young actresses so it makes sense for Leighton Meester to consider designing her own line of clothing and accessories.

“The more I think about it the more it sounds like something I would want to do,” she tells us. “I don’t know if it’d be any time soon but I’d really like to work on a collaboration with somebody – I always have ideas for stuff like that. The problem is I always have so much admiration for so many designers and for so many different styles, it’d difficult to hone in on just one look but why not?”

Counting Audrey Hepburn, Helen Mirren and Cate Blanchett as women whose style sense she admires, Meester looks at each for inspiration.

The Gossip Girl actress has a number of films coming out next year: Country Strong with Gwyneth Paltrow, The Oranges with Hugh Laurie, The Roommate with Minka Kelly and Monte Carlo with Selena Gomez so she will have to squeeze in a fashion collaboration but she would have a great point of view to work from.
