Abigail Breslin ‘Janie Jones’ Premiere Photos
Written by Violet on September 19, 2010 – 9:06 pm -Abigail Breslin plays a young singer/songwriter in her new film Janie Jones. In the movie, Breslin’s Janie is trying to connect with her musician father (who didn’t know she existed) while her mother enters rehab.
The 14 year-old actress really liked playing Janie as she even got to drive for the film (she was only 13 at the time) and scared one of the assistants! Breslin said:
“I actually drove in the parking lot and it was awesome, “she said. “I did the actual stunt thing where I almost hit a car. Everybody was fearful those 2 days. We had this one production assistant, Ben, who was in the back seat while I was driving. I could tell he was so afraid and thinking ‘Why did they put me in the car with this lunatic?’ ”
But the illicit driving experience was every kid’s dream.
“It was fun,” says Breslin “My brothers (Spencer, age 18 and Ryan, 25) got their licenses both of them like 3 months ago. I’m like ‘I’m more experienced than you guys are.’”
Breslin did her own singing for the part and while she was nervous – she says she had lots of fun experiencing something new.

Zac Efron Deauville American Film Festival
Written by Violet on September 12, 2010 – 4:32 pm -Zac Efron gave the Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France a look at his movie, Charlie St. Cloud and his new facial hair. Efron will be in Europe promoting Charlie to try to drum up some overseas box office. The actor spoke to Wonderland Magazine about his willingness to work in films that are unusual:
“We need to not be afraid to take risks in film; take cool concepts that might not be commercial but find a way to make them mainstream. I want to find things that I can bring something to, that are different, that are cool – for an audience today that’s so intelligent. I know this audience, I’ve grown up with them. I’m a product of this generation and I know how smart we are. I know the material that we crave in movies today – we’re not seeing a lot of it. It’s unfortunate.”
Is the look for one of his new films or just personal preference?
Either way – catch more of the freshly bearded Zac below:

Megan Fox: Jennifer’s Body Toronto Premiere
Written by Violet on September 11, 2009 – 10:47 am -Megan Fox looked super hot in her Valentino dress on the red carpet for her movie premiere, Jennifer’s Body at the Toronto International Film Festival. The actress recently told MTV that she was not ok doing nudity for films or having a sex tape of her own.
“People take everything from you when you’re in this business. Your anonymity is stripped from you, they invade every part of you: your personal life, your relationships. Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged,” Megan confessed. “Literally all I have left are my private parts, and I don’t want to also share them with the world.”
She’s got a point: if she doesn’t control that aspect of her life, someone else will. It’s nice to see she has thought through the implications of having so much of your self out there for the world to see.
