Tom Felton headed to the 2011 Jameson Empire Film Awards held at the Grosvenor House in London that took place earlier today, March 27th.

Felton collected the award that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1 received for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film on behalf of director David Yates.

The 23 year-old actor told the audience “A huge thank you to all the Empire readers and the fans for a decade of support; we wouldn’t be here without you. You must excuse the absence of David Yates; he’d love to be here but he’s putting the finishing touches on our epic finale, which is why I’m here. So thanks again, and have a great evening.”

Felton, along with the rest of the HP cast, will be doing a lot of press for the final film in the Harry Potter franchise. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is due out in the U.S. on July 15th.

Felton is also costarring in another summer film: Rise of the Apes, with James Franco, Freida Pinto and John Lithgow. The release date of this has been changed again – it will now open in theaters on August 5th.

Josh Hutcherson hit The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach, California on Saturday, February 26th.

The Kids Are All Right actor was supporting his film’s nominations for Best Original Screenplay (which it won) and actress Annette Bening for Best Actress (who lost to Natalie Portman in Black Swan.)

Both Bening and Portman are also up for Oscars at tonight’s 83rd Annual Academy Awards and the 17 year-old actor has his own favorite:

“Of course, I’m a little biased, but I’d have to say Annette,” he said. “I think both of them are amazing actresses. I’ve idolized Natalie my entire life because she’s a young actress who made the transition into an adult, so they’re both very deserving.”

Hutcherson just wrapped Journey 2 with Vanessa Hudgens and the long-awaited reboot of Red Dawn he stars in may finally get a release date later this year (see story here.)

Mia Wasikowska headed to Santa Monica Beach, California for The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, February 26th.

The 21 year-old actress chose a sleeveless white knit Rodarte dress with lace shoulder details.

Wasikowska, who is in the film The Kids Are All Right with Josh Hutcherson, Mark Ruffalo, Annette Bening and Julianne Moore, spoke to reporters on the red carpet about the film:

“It’s so great when the smaller films that always take a lot more effort to get together — when they reach so many people, it’s really cool,” she said.

Wasikowska has a full slate of projects this year. She is starring in Stoker and A View From The Bridge as well as a possible role in The Wettest County in the World.

Next up for the actress is Jane Eyre, which premieres March 11th.

New Year’s Eve filming in New York City continued this week with Zac Efron giving his costar Michelle Pfeiffer a vespa lift for one scene.

Efron plays a bike messenger and Pfeiffer a corporate secretary in the upcoming rom-com sequel to last year’s star studded Valentine’s Day.

In January at the Golden Globes, the 23 year-old actor told MTV’s Hollywood Crush:

“My scenes are with Michelle Pfeiffer,” Zac said with a grin. “Yeah, not a bad co-star.”

The Lucky One actor has worked with Hollywood legend Pfeiffer before. The two were costars in Hairspray.

Zoe Kravitz stepped out to the photo call for her new film, Yelling to the Sky in Germany this weekend where the movie debuted at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Kravitz earned cheers from the crowd for her portrayal of Sweetness O’Hara, the troubled teenager of a depressed mother and alcoholic father who ends up falling into drug use after her friend is shot and killed.

The 22 year-old actress said of her character:

“Even though I didn’t grow up in those kinds of circumstances — I was very blessed — I was still lost and confused and alone and sad and angry, all the very human emotions that I think we all feel,” the 22-year-old told reporters after a well-received screening.

“So I think at the end of the day, we are all Sweetness.”

A very odd pairing will occur during Super Bowl XLV when the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburg Steelers battle it out for pigskin supremacy.

Ozzy Osbourne, The Prince of Darkness and Justin Bieber, The Prince of Not-So-Much Darkness are teaming up for a Best Buy commercial airing during the annual football championship. The retailer said:

“We’re delighted to have Justin and Ozzy help us tell the Best Buy story,” Best Buy’s senior vice president of U.S. marketing, Drew Panayiotu, said. “We know people have high expectations for these ads and Justin and Ozzy add a whole new dimension of fun.”

Will Ozzy get a swish do? The 2011 Super Bowl XLV airs on Sunday February 6th.

Saoirse Ronan is a trained killing machine in the April movie release Hanna. The movie poster has the simple tagline of Adapt Or Die.

Hanna is about a little girl who is raised by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA man, in the woods of Findland.  Hanna (Saoirse Ronan) has been trained to be a brutal and ruthless killing machine.  When she is old enough, her father leaves her alone to complete a mission by herself.  She travels across Europe, but must elude intelligence agent with secrets of her own (Cate Blanchett).

This will be Ronan’s first of two teen girl assassins, the second one come up later in the year when Violet and Daisy hits theaters. Hanna is also Ronan’s second go-round with director Joe Wright. He helmed the 2007 Academy Award film Atonement.

Sarah (Dianna Agron) looks at John’s (Alex Pettyfer) glowing hand and realizes just how different he is from most guys in high school in this new image from I Am Number Four.

Dreamworks Studios sent out a ton of new photos from the new sci-fi thriller directed by D.J. Caruso where John is on the run from bounty hunter aliens intent on killing the last nine survivors from his home planet. Number’s One, Two and Three have been eliminated. He is Number Four.

Miley Cyrus posted a new video blog from the set of ‘So Undercover.’

The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer said all the girls from the movie are gone now because the sorority scenes are finished filming and they had a fun wrap party as they left set. The actress also talks about costar Jeremy Piven playing drums at the bash and having a blast.

In early December it was announced that Taylor Lautner landed the lead in Incarceron – the movie to be based on the popular book by Catherine Fisher.

The story of the Finn, the teen raised in a futuristic prison, he discovers a way to communicate with Claudia, the daughter of the Warden of Incarceron.

So who is going to be Claudia? Deadline is reporting that Emma Watson, Blake Lively and Jennifer Lawrence are the top three contenders for the coveted part.

Watson just finished the Harry Potter films and has a small part in the upcoming My Week With Marilyn. Lively will be in the Seth Rogen superhero flick Green Hornet (and of course on Gossip Girl). Lawrence was in Winter’s Bone last year and is rumored for a part with Jackson Rathbone in the upcoming Truckstop.
