Sunshine will return to ‘Glee’ but the wait continues for a little while longer.

Charice has confirmed she is returning to the show as everyone’s favorite Rachel (Lea Michele) rival. What episode she returns is not confirmed however it is likely to be the super-sized episode following the Superbowl.

What the singer did reveal is that she found out she got the part from fans on twitter. The producers sent her an email, but the news hit the social network faster than the email hit her inbox!

Lea had the privilege to meet the princess of pop, who makes a special appearance on Glee tonight, and only has nice things to say about her. The 24 year-old is a fan of Britney like most girls her age who still remember the singer’s glorious years with her first two/three albums.

Lea revealed, “She was so professional. She looked incredible. She’s so tiny! She was great to work with. It was one of those things where you go to work and you’re like, ‘I can’t believe we’re doing this!’

“We are in a scene together. What we do together, I can’t say, but I will tell you it’s incredibly iconic! I can’t believe Ryan [Murphy] got her to do this.”

“Lea looks gorgeous, and obviously, Playboy noticed,” the friend says. “She loves her new look, and she might do it if she thought it would boost her career.” Lea’s rep denied the rumors the 24 year-old would pose naked for $500,000.

However, Lea is ready to take her clothes off. And she would obviously do it for PeTa. “I don’t think we need to see a billboard of me naked to know I am anti-fur,” the Glee star tells RadarOnline. “But if they asked I would probably do it.”

Lea is not a girl, but she is a beautiful woman. She can make her own decisions on whatever is best for her career and her life. I’d just advise Lea to eat a hamburger – a vegan hamburger! – because she is starting to look scary skinny.

One of the most anticipated plot lines for Glee’s second season is Kurt’s (played by Chris Colfer) boyfriend. When Chord Overstreet was cast as a new football player for McKinley High, the rumor mill kicked into high gear – the plot was supposedly to have Overstreet’s Sam as Kurt’s boyfriend and the two would be Homecoming King and King. That looks more and more unlikely as Colfer has told press that there is no romance for the duo in the first four episodes.

EW is reporting that Darren Criss is joining the show as Blaine, a rival show choir member and strike up a friendship with Kurt. However, the word is this is just a friendship for now, but it could, maybe, possibly, somewhere in the future be the couple everyone is hoping for.

Show creator Ryan Murphy is stringing us along but I can’t wait to see how this turns out.

GLEE will honor pop princess Britney Spears with an episode title “Britney/Brittany” completely dedicated to her fantastic and catchy repertoire on Tuesday (September 28)- watch videos below. Britney herself will make a very special appearance during a rendition of “Me Against The Music”.

A short new clip released by the pop star shows Heather Morris‘ “Brittany” and Naya Rivera‘s “Santana” performing “Me Against the Music” while completely high on sedatives in actor John Stamos’ dentist office. Other Britney classic hits to be featured in the second episode of the new season of GLEE also include “ I’m A Slave 4 U”, “Baby, One More Time” and “Toxic”.

Are you ready for the return of GLEE? The first episode will start with a big musical number inspired by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ duet “Empire State Of Mind”. Why? During this season, our Gleeks will be completely focused on going to the Nationals, which are held in New York.

And here are some spoilers revealed in the teaser trailer (watch video below):

• Finn admits he still has feelings for Quinn.
• Mrs. Shue’s return, in full-on Fatal Attraction mode.
• Mr. Shue’s game plan for year two: “We have to go from a small rebel force to a giant wall of sound,” he preaches. He also answers critics of Glee who might not have liked season one’s song choices: “They say we only sing show tunes and eighties pop. Let’s show them how down we are.” (Though a teacher’s use of the word “down” would seem to indicate: not very.)
• One Sue Sylvester zing. “Not everyone can be a champion. We need fry cooks and bus drivers,” she tells Will.
• The return of Hip-Hop Artie!

Glee got Simpsonized! Some of the most popular Glee cast members, Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn) and Amber Riley (Mercedes), were immortalized as animated characters to be featured in an upcoming episode of “The Simpsons”.

The Glee stars lend their voice to the animated characters in the first episode (“Elementary School Musical”) of the 22nd season of FOX’s legendary show, “The Simpsons”, which will air on September 26.

The boys of Glee: Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Chris Colfer and Kevin McHale were Katy Perry’s co-hosts for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards held Sunday night. The guys were joined on stage by the Glee girls Lea Michele, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera as they picked up the award for Choice TV Show: Comedy.

Cory, pictured above, had a set reunion of sorts with his Monte Carlo castmates Selena Gomez and Leighton Meester, also at the TCAs.

Twenty two year old French actor Pierre Boulanger has won the boyfriend role of Selena Gomez’s character Grace in the upcoming film Monte Carlo. It appears the cast is complete as Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy is set to play Emma and Glee’s Cory Monteith is her boyfriend. Leighton Meester, Luke Bracey and Brett Cullen are all in for the win.

The movie will film this summer in Budapest, Paris and Monaco.

The cast of Glee will have a once in a lifetime opportunity this coming Easter. The First Lady, Michelle Obama has invited the lucky group to perform for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Sunday April 5th.

Rumor has it Mrs. O and her daughters are big fans of the show. And since a White House gig is an offer that’s pretty darn hard to refuse, Glee’s producers did some lickety-split schedule rejiggering in order to honor the request.

Malia and Sasha Obama and all the kids will have a blast. Wonder what they will perform?
