Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were very dedicated in accurately portraying Joan Jett and Cherie Currie’s life in their movie The Runaways. The actresses spent so much time with Jett and Currie they adopted many of their personal habits and idiosyncrasies including how they write.

Here is Taylor Lautner winning Breakout Movie Actor at The People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Former girlfriend, Taylor Swift and her mom stood up and applauded Lautner as he took the stage to get his trophy.

Lautner is on a roll lately, not just with Twilight, but he has signed on for movies Max Steel, Cancun (maybe) with Taylor Swift and Northern Lights with Tom Cruise.

Cougar Town actress Courtney Cox’s little five year old daughter, Coco, has a crush on Zac Efron. Cox and her husband David Arquette, arranged for Efron to meet her as a surprise, however Coco was so overcome with shyness, she ran into another room to escape the actor.

She explains, “Coco gets these huge crushes on people. One day we decided to surprise her and invite Zac Efron over. We didn’t tell her he was coming – she just loves him. We had a video camera up and we told her to close her eyes, (then said) ‘Open them now!’

She freaked out. She was traumatized and ran to her room… She was like, ‘Oh no! I don’t want to go out there!’ I was trying to help her and she said, ‘Well, it’s his face!’”

Poor Coco! But Efron better watch out for mom – Cox has said she thinks he’s “hot” and he’d be perfect on her new show Cougar Town. Cox told ETOnline:

“Zac Efron would be perfect, but Zac probably has too much confidence to be real prey for a cougar.”

Efron has a lot of female fans in the Cox-Arquette household.

Camp Rock 2 actress Demi Lovato is happy to be working with her friends The Jonas Brothers again and is even more excited for Kevin Jonas and his upcoming wedding to Danielle Deleasa. Tiger Beat asked her if she knew what she was going to wear to the wedding:

“I feel like maybe I’ll wear a wedding gown and be like, ‘What’s up guys. Oh! This isn’t my wedding?’ I’m just kidding,” Demi joked to us, “I don’t know what I’ll wear.”

Now that is funny!

Vanessa Hudgens was in Vancouver training for her new film Sucker Punch and heading to her hotel when she was snapped by the waiting paparazzi. The actress looked very upbeat considering she has been hit with a ton of rumours (engagement to Zac Efron is confirmed by publicists as NOT happening) a dismal opening of her new movie Bandslam (didn’t even crack the top 10 for opening week) her nude pictures hitting the internet again (and promptly being removed by legal threats.)

Sterling Knight who was in 17 Again with Efron, (and photographed with Hudgens) was hanging out with the couple and he went to the Kings of Leon show with the High School Musical stars.

That KOL show must have been great: tons of Disney stars and the Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse cast and to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson together publicly confiriming the year long gossip of their romance.

Miley Cyrus and her BFF Mandy Jiroux went shopping after picking up groceries in Toluca Lake, California Saturday afternoon. The pair rocked the short shorts and Miley was sporting her cute fedora.

Miley Cyrus will be heading to the White House to screen her new Hannah Montana movie with Malia and Sasha Obama, but before that, she had to clear up some things regarding her now infamous photo that some found offensive. The picture taken by another ‘friend’ (and released on the net – nice…) had Miley and her boyfriend Justin Gaston and others making what appeared to be ‘asian eyes.’

In her original statement, many felt she wasn’t really apologizing, just blowing off the blame with the excuse that she was making a goofy face with her pals, so no harm done. Cyrus faced another round of sharp criticism in the media and by some prominent Asian groups who felt she did not pay attention to their concerns. She has gone back to her blog to send out a more contrite apology.

“I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone. I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometimes my actions can be unintentionally hurtful. I know everything is a part of GOD’s ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman he aspires me to be.”

This time around it sounds genuine. I think she felt attacked before, and perhaps rightfully so. I hope she has a chance to do things with her friends that don’t become national news because some one close to her releases/sells everything she does to the world.

The Obama girls will absolutely enjoy their experience with Miley for the Disney Hannah Montana movie.

Sometimes, creativity comes from unexpected places. In Taylor Swift’s case, she wrote her first song because she felt shunned and alone from her middle school friends.

“I would go and sit down at the lunch table with my friends. And they would get up and move their trays to another table. Had [they] kept me in their group, and I had been the most popular girl in middle school, I would never have been inspired to write one song.”

Swift also talks about her love of crime shows and how much she enjoyed her guest shot on CSI.
