Taking part in Prince Charles’ ‘A Garden Party to Make a Difference’ eco-festival, Emma Watson and People Tree UK will produce a fashion show of the upcoming Spring/Summer 2011 line. Held on Buckingham Palace’s Clarence House gardens, the event will showcase how people can live a cleaner, healthier future. Watson, who won’t be able to attend the show will have a video presentation before the stylish preview.

“I’m so thrilled that People Tree will be showing the spring summer collection at A Garden Party to Make a Difference,” she said in a statement. “I think The Prince of Wales’ initiative is such a brilliant idea and I’m thrilled.”

Watson is passionately committed to the cause and recently traveled to Bangladesh to gain first hand knowledge how the clothing is produced and the positive impact it has on the community.

What have you done to help conserve our resources?

Vanessa Hudgens celebrated her 21st birthday on December 14th while she was in Vancouver filming Sucker Punch. Her longtime boyfriend, Zac Efron, got her a very green and eco-friendly gift: three fruit trees for her backyard. The citrus trio, a lemon, orange and tangerine tree, were planted for her as a surprise when she returned to Los Angeles. Romantic, thoughtful, unique and long lasting – great gift!

The Disney Super Six – Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Selena Gomez and Kevin Jonas all are a part of Friends For Change, Disney’s effort to get everyone to go green and save the planet. The stars of the mouse channel’s blockbuster shows: Hannah Montana, Sonny With A Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place and JONAS came together to record ‘Send It On’ with proceeds from digitally purchasing the song will go to environmental charities through Disney’s Worldwide Conservation Fund. Selena Gomez is working hard at being green and environmentally responsible. Not only is the Disney star involved in Friends For Change, the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’  star is trying to better herself and change her habits.

“What’s really bad about me is I leave the lights on everywhere I go,” she confesses, adding that she’s trying to improve that with self-reminders via post-it notes.

Gomez does say she has a green thumb that comes from her grandmother and enjoys plants and gardening and she loved biology and botany.

Selena has a packed summer and little time for horticulture. Her movie with Demi Lovato, ‘Princess Protection Program’  is airing on Disney June 26th and she begins filming season 3 of ‘Wizards’  next month. Her WOWP movie airs in August on the mouse network and she just completed ‘Ramona and Beezus’  in theaters March of 2010.
