Actress Hilary Duff graces the cover of the latest issue of Lucky Magazine (May 2010). The 22 year-old actress, who is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Mike Comrie, admits she is addicted to online shopping and confesses jeans is her favorite piece of clothing.

Here are some highlights from Hilary Duff’s Lucky interview:

On online shopping: “I’m so addicted, I almost don’t leave my house anymore. (laughs)”

On her favorite shopping site: “My absolute favorite place to shop is Net-a-Porter. There are so many beautiful, irresistible things.”

On her around-the-clock signature style: “I’m a jeans girl. When I’m going out, I tend to just transition my outfits from day to night.”

Actress Hilary Duff stars in a new TV movie, “Beauty & The Briefcase”, based on the book “Diary of a Working Girl” by Daniella Brodsky, which tells the story of a fashion journalist who goes undercover to write an article about dating men in the work place. Hilary Duff, best known as the squeaky clean Disney teen Lizzie McGuire, is branching out – into teen writing. The actress is set to pen a series of young adult novels, starting with Elixir; due in October of 2010. The novels have photojournalist Clea Raymond as the heroine who uncovers mystery, danger and romance while globe trotting.

Says Duff, “I’ve always loved the escape of a great book, especially one that features a strong, inspiring female character you feel you really understand, someone who could be you, but living a more fascinating life. I’m hoping Elixir will be that kind of book-a novel that will transport readers and open new worlds for them.”

Duff is working on a non-fiction tome too. Stories from children of divorced parents and the obstacles they overcome will be the focus of her other work, to be published in 2012.

Actress Hilary Duff, who has been busy filming scenes for her special guest appearance on Gossip Girl in New York, and her boyfriend Mike Comrie were seen out to lunch at the Hugos Restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday (August 29).

Hilary looks great in her short shorts but she could definitely use some California sun or Lindsay Lohan’s fake orange tan. The actress has been accused of being a diva on set of Gossip Girl but it seems like the rumors are not true according to CW.

Actress Hilary Duff and Penn Badgley were caught shooting a hot kissing scene for Gossip Girl in New York City on Wedneday (August 26) . It could have been a really awkward situation because Penn is fellow co-star Blake Lively’s boyfriend but Hilary says they have been amazing to her.

Hilary said, “I’ve known him for a few years. We lived in the same neighborhood in LA growing up. And they’re wonderful! Blake has been so sweet to me.”

Actress Hilary Duff wows in a super sexy tight dress while enjoying a break on the Gossip Girl set in New York City this week.

Hilary, who is set to appear in seven episodes of the show, will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience and ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).
